Beautiful area! We were in site Eagle 92. Thank goodness! We were lucky enough that we could get level in this site. A lot of the sites are not level. I mean seriously going downhill. Travel trailers lowered the tongue to the ground to get level. Class A鈥檚 would have a challenging time. Sites closer to the water seem to be steeper. All sites have 20/30/50 amp service. Some then have water and then there are some in Nighthawk loop that have full hookup. ( water, sewer and power)! However, they are all paved, with picnic tables, and fire pits. The showers are single person, large and clean. There was a skunk just outside the shower house, in the Eagle loop when I came out. Staff is friendly. We would definitely stay here again, if we could get site 92 or others I noted that we could get level in.

Stood one night Sept 20th, 2024 while driving through. Overall nice park. Clean bathrooms and shower house, large dumpsters and double lane dump station. Not all sites have a water connection, electric only, but there is a working water fill station close to the dumpsters.
At this time they charge $18/night which I think is reasonable for what you get.
I would stay again if needed.

Site 81 at 1.5% slope. Almost impossible to level our 23 ft mh. Picture so misleading. The corner to corner at the rear was about 18 inch slope. Front to back was maybe 1.5% at one corner. Most of the sites unlevel. But it芒鈧劉s pretty here

Lovely, scenic quiet. 5 star would be water hook-up. Bath & showers clean. I do recommend this lovely spot

Clean and most sites have lake views. Unfortunately most site pads are very sloped and some are extreme. Very difficult to get level. In electric only loops there is adequate space between sites. In the full hookup loop some sites are very close .

Easy in and out for a one night stay
Careful choosing your site. A lot of electric only.
All paved roads. Some sites have a big step down from your camper

I usually prefer COE campgrounds, but this one... Stayed one night on my way to Chicago and was grateful it was only one night. The campground is large and busy. I had reserved Site 30 in the Nighthawk area. As I waited to check in another couple wanted to do a walk up site. Cash only, so be aware. I didn芒鈧劉t realize when I reserved my site that all the sites around me were booked by a large group having some kind of reunion. The spots are close together in this area and without much privacy. Their picnic bench was about 5 ft. from my parking pad. The couple next to me got into a loud argument over his inability to get his Class A rig into the spot. Actually a dangerous situation. The people next to me on the other side left their dog tethered at their site and it barked and barked and barked. From several sites away they would yell occasionally to 芒鈧搒hut up芒鈧. The final straw was the park worker who began cutting dead tree limbs and running them through the wood chipper in the early a.m. all along the shoreline, which kicked up huge amounts of dust. Why on a busy weekend? He did apologize for the dust afterward. On the plus side, the location is conveniently located off the interstate and I didn芒鈧劉t hear any traffic noise. The hookups were good too. That being said, I don芒鈧劉t know if I芒鈧劉d give this park another chance.

Stayed in Eagle Loop. Arrived on a Thursday for a 2 night stay. Best spots are reservable and were taken. Approximately 10 spots were available in the Walk in area. Electric only. Nice concrete pad from your door to picnic table. Not even close to being level. Concrete picnic table in good shape but needs power washed. Clean shower facilities.

Stayed here on our grand adventure in our 40' fifth wheel. The back-in spaces were huge. Be sure to pick one that looks fairly level with a patio near your RV steps. We did not and our last step was a long one to the ground. Everything is paved and clean, super nice. We had full hookups including sewer for $12 with America the Beautiful pass.
