I stayed here for 2 nights, mid-week in early May. There were only 4 other sites occupied, but I imagine it is busy and full during the summer season. This is a single loop campground along the Salmon River. The setting is steep-sided river canyon, with the Salmon River just across the road, visible from most camp sites. Campground is very close to main road, which had low traffic when I was there. There are some large pines and other trees in the campground but it has a lot of sunny area. There are 18 sites, several suitable for RVs. I had a 20ft travel trailer and there were 3 other RVs that were >30ft. Most of the sites have space between them so that it doesn't feel crowded. Overall I liked it and found it peaceful during early season, but think it would be hot and crowded during the summer.
