Wow - if this was in California there would be a 6 month wait. Lakeside views over snow capped mountains. Sites on the water are great but the 3rd row has better views and was less booked on our visit. A brilliant place to stay on your way up to Jackson.

M-t good deal for seniors. 10+ miles from st. Charles. Good road. Some pull through sites. We arrived in late sept. Only two campers here. No attendant.

First of all, it is easier to get here than I first expected... Come across the top part of the lake from st charles...Road is paved and comes past miles of private beach front property. (We thought we would have to drive east shore gravel road from Montpelier!) The campground is basic, little shade, gravel spaces overlooking the lake. $29.31 is a steep fee for a parking spot with electricity on a Saturday near the end of September but full fees are charged over the weekend... 1/2 price camping for seniors M-Th seems more reasonable but no break even on walk in season (after labor day). Since we drove all the way out here we will stay the night but I am not very impressed.
