This park is great because of easy walking access to Sandpoint with all of its great amenities. Joel芒鈧劉s is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever found. Served outside though during the virus. I disagree with a previous review regarding the staff service and attitude; they were superb. They helped us to, on our second night, move to an even-numbered site; those are farther from the tracks. We were able to get a good night芒鈧劉s sleep there. The odd numbered sites to the west are Very near the tracks, and our sleep was not good. The trains come through at about 4 per hour in the evening. Good bike trails run North, South and West for several miles. We will return because we like Sandpoint.

They run approximately 40 trains in 24hrs. However they do not blow horns. It芒鈧劉s a good proximity for walking to town. However the resort employees clearly don芒鈧劉t like the RV park and refer to us as 芒鈧搚ou trailer people芒鈧 so don芒鈧劉t expect any courtesy from them. If you walk 100 yards to the east there are beautiful views of the lake. It can be quite busy on the weekends.

Basically a parking lot but with full hookups. It's part of a hotel so you get to use hotel pool and facilities. Also close to beach and restaurants, Starbucks and such. Trains go by but we could not hear them inside our coach.

You get to sleep in between trains! This place is close to downtown. Short walk to a paid public boat dock. Close to the beach. You can swim in the hotels pool. It's just too close to those trains.

Ugly and noisy, but walking distance to town
