We set up our daughter in our Super C here for 2 months while she worked in nearby Salmon during the busy season. We were so happy with the beautiful scenery, quiet grounds, and excellent service from the owner. If she ever needed anything, they were happy to help. There is a clean laundry room, showers, and bathrooms onsite, and more than enough space for a 40 foot RV. There are shade trees, some grass sites, some landscape rock sites, picnic tables, a gas firepit, and an onsite mini-store if you need. The owner waited for us until we arrived, helped us get our bearings, and then grew to be a friend. If you are needing to camp (even in a tent!) anywhere near Salmon, Idaho, you need to go and see Stewart at Elk Bend RV Park. Say hi to the deer that roam the area, too, or walk across the street and listen to the Salmon River. Just a beautiful area! Sites with full hookups and not. Would not hesitate to recommend Elk Bend RV Park.
Pet Friendly!

I stayed 10 nights in August
I found the park to be very well cared for and clean.
The owners were very friendly and were available to help with questions. Keith picked up my empty propane tank and filled it up and returned it promptly to the front of my trailer. A very pleasant experience was had during my stay. The owners take great pride in their park. There is a bar & grill across the street (The Dusty Mule) I ate dinner there and had my fill of on tap beers. Very kind owner there as well. Walked across the street from Elk Bend RV Park to put my raft in and float down the salmon river 3.3 miles took 1 hr 20 min nice way to spent the afternoon. I would have liked to floated a few more hours longer next time. Took out at the twin bridges. I would return to Elk Bend RV Park in the future. I found it to be peaceful and quiet. bu

This place is great! Definitely a gem in the remote parts of Idaho. The hosts were great and make you feel right at home. Very clean and they are taking precautions against the spread of Covid. Great pricing for overnight stays. Check out the Dusty Mule across the road from the campground. They have great food! We will definitely be coming back!

Keith was great. He was very pleasant and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Campground is very clean and organized. Pull through sites have lots of room. Power, water, sewage, picnic table at each site. Campground and facilities are spotless!!!
Stayed here and hiked to Goldbug Hotsprings, the trailhead is only 5 minutes away.
NOTE: they do NOT charge $5 to use the wash house as stated in some of the earlier ratings.

Good rates. Nice grounds. Friendly owners. However, there is an additional charge simply to use the restrooms; a first in my many years of RV'ing.

A small but beautiful RV park right across from the Salmon River. The Cafe is no longer open, and the owner want to charge an extra $5.00 per night to use the toliets and showers. Even tho they are listed as amenities there is a charge. I was planning on a weeks stay but am leaving after 1 night. I won't be back!!!
