Campsite was right on river-very pretty! Host Kelsey was super nice. You can walk or bike to downtown Salmon which is super cute w bars, restaurants, coffee cafe and shops. Clean and great location! Would go here again.

We really enjoyed this campground. Well maintained grassy sites. We had planned on being here one night, but ended up staying 5. Got one of the premium sites that parallel the river and includes a small deck. The facilities were old but clean and in good repair. Utilities work well but note the water pressure is high. Wifi was great. 3 bars of Verizon LTE on my iphone. Strict pet rules but not unreasonable. Owner at face value may seem aloof, but he was very responsive to questions and made sure we had a great stay. 1/2 mile walk to downtown. Check out Odd Fellows Bakery for some of the croissants I have ever had.
Can’t wait to return here in the future.

not my favorite spot but ok for a night. it is on the river but not a pretty part of the river. it is city camping when you are around the most beautiful scenery--- except not in this park. the bathrooms are in a trailer. the guy that runs it is not friendly. watch his website. when you request if certain dates are available you land up checking a box that is a very strict and expensive cancellation policy. he doesnt answer the phone.

This was a very happy surprise. We had no reservation and were worried about finding a spot. We not only got a spot, but we had a direct view if the salmon river! We had full hook-ups, plenty of shade and grass and no, it wasn’t the most modern with tons of amenities, but very quaint and a perfect rest spot. Yes, the manager is quirky and definitely doesn't care for dogs but they are allowed. He doesn't care for them I think because of the beautiful gardens he maintains...including a vegetable garden. He just doesn't want dogs peeing and pooping near the vegetables. I get that. It is pretty close to the road so you'll have road noise during the day but at night it’s quiet. I would definitely come back.

I would definitely not come back here. If we had not been on the road for a very full day already, I would have moved on. We called this park in the morning and they had one spot available and said I need to reserve it and give them my credit card if I wanted it. I did and he said check in is at 3 and I said we would be late, no problem he said. Well we show up and he had given our spot to someone else. Never even apologized, but told me to head 19 miles further down the road for another park. I walked out and my husband walked in to tell the guy how dissatisfied he was and all of a sudden he had a spot, a very small spot that we could squeeze into, so we did simply because it was late. But I did not want to give the man my business. The rules are strict and the camp is old. Our neighbors at the park had a similar experience. We will not be back. If I could rate it a zero I would.

My husband and I stayed here two nights when passing through. We loved it! Our site overlooked the Salmon River and we were surrounded by mountains. Very pretty and peaceful. The owner was a little quirky, but we enjoyed his dry wit. The campground is not modern and glitzy, but that adds to its charm. We would gladly stay here again. We camped at Century II Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome, towing a car. Fee for full hook-ups was $35.

We paid for a nights stay at another park in town but the only pull through was a muddy mess. We called Century 2 and the owner invited us to look at the last pull through he had. We looked at it and stayed.
The park was clean and tidy, and the spaces were fairly large. The price although slightly higher than the first place was modest.
Another review took issue with the rules and their enforcement. My opinion is that the rules are written on the sales receipt and are not unusual or unfair. I see nothing wrong with the owner enforcing them.
I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderfully quiet and just a short walk back to town - less than.5 miles. Owner is hard of hearing but very friendly and even called me by name in town. Worth a stop.

The campground is right on the Salmon River on the north side of town. It has back in and pull thru sites. However, most of the pull thrus are 30-amp sites and the owner/manager will NOT allow 50 amp rigs to stay in a 30 amp site. Two of the premier sites on the River cannot handle double slides. Some friends from town came out join us to sit on the public wooden deck but the manager/owner ran us off. We as registered guests could use the deck but not our friends! There were maybe 8 rigs in the park. No one else was using the deck. We are all in our late 60's and 70's. We were not going to cause a disturbance. He was adamant.
The fees are reasonable but the atmosphere is a downer. We won't be back.
