Great campground. Electric and water hookups at all sites for $30 or 15 with golden NP pass. Lots of paved trails to walk and bike. Swim beach and boat ramp. It is beautiful here!

Very nice park with lots of sites, most of them wooded and shady with a fair amount of privacy. All the amenities, swim beach, hot showers with good pressure, dish sink, playground, day use area, dog Island. Standard electric site with water $30, 15 with pass. Many sites have partial view of the lake.

Agree with the other review. This place is popular on the weekends and a GREAT place for families. Great trails to walk on, fishing piers, a place for the dog to run, a place to park the boat in the water off river. Sites have 30/50 am service and water and a small dump station. Note the dump station is best used on the way out, so plan accordingly. Most sites are spacious and private. Bathrooms with showers are clean and large. Staff is great, the hosts happy and helpful. The location is wonderful, along the river and an inlet for swimming, and a good swimming beach is provided for the kids. We stayed four days and wish we had planned longer. It is popular and takes reservations so plan ahead. I would definitely come here again. Oh, and we got over the air TV stations, at least 20, and Verizon signal was great. Lots of places for larger rigs to fit, and some nice smaller tent sites, too. Everyone there was having a great time.

Wow! I can only think that the lack of reviews for this campground are due to everyone wanting to keep this gorgeous place their own little secret. This was surely the most beautiful campground we have stayed in EVER! Sites w/elec &water are perfectly maintained, bathrooms clean with showers available at 25 cents/5 min (yes, 25 cents). CG located on the Pend Oreille River, complete with boat launch, boat anchoring Bay, swim beach, walking trail, picnic shelters, horseshoe pit, huge playground -simply fabulous grounds. Although you can’t see the water from most of the sites, the river is only a short walk away...or you can drive all your beach stuff over to the swim beach and park in the huge parking area.
