Pros: clean bathrooms and outdoor kitchen and sinks, firewood and canoes/paddle boats included in the price, friendly staff.
There were bees, but I just ignored them. I did not find them overwhelming.
Overall, I found the location was great and I would definitely stay again.

Call this place Camp Bumble Bee, because the entire place is inundated with bees.
We could not set up our camp until after sundown and by early morning there were so many flying around that we were basically chased out. That’s better than the people who had a spot next to us. They arrived and departed within an hour because the situation was so unbearable. Management feigned that this was the first they had ever heard about the situation, but that’s crap. There was even a bee glue trap in a tree in our space left by a previous beleaguered camper, which was not set up properly and had snared a small bird in addition to the insects. Management had no idea it was there – do they even inspect the sites in between campers?
+1 star for free firewood and clean showers, but that’s it. The camp looks great from a distance but up close it’s worn and tired. Prices for basic supplies are jacked way up. Would never stay there again and advise you to avoid under all circumstances.

RV spots were extremely narrow and awkward. Not able to use slide or awning. Noisy campers and unleashed dogs. Free firewood was green and the camp was extremely smokey. Only stayed one night instead of the 5 I had paid for. Would never stay here again!

Nice access right off the highway. Free paddle boats or canoe and free firewood. Bathrooms were clean. Sites felt a little close but there were lots of trees.

There’s a visually new owners or new management as this park looks great and is super clean. The bathrooms were very clean and the store looks to be new. The pool was clear and the kids were happy. I wish we’d have had more time but we were only there one night.

Nice secluded campground. Back in spots are right next to forest and shaded. Pool was clean and open. Great for the kids to canoe and paddle boat. We kayaked the river marsh area all the way out to the lake. Too bad the fire ban was still in effect. Front office is under remodel. Looks like it's on its way to be a great RV park. 4 stars for the construction in office and showers or would be 5.

Has the possibility to be great, however, the pool was filled with green swampy water that stank. (Pool was "under maintainance"). We got set up and noticed we had no water so I headed down to check and was told the pump was broken and the owner was gone over the 4th of July. I could have been ok with this if they would have mentioned it before we got settled and they would have give us $5-10 off of an expensive site. They are proud of their free firewood--it was 90-100 ! Charge $2 a bundle and fix your water and pool. We were there for 5 days in July 2017.

Campsites on steep hill small. Pool non functioning and park too expensive. Highway noise annoying

We stayed in a trailer midweek during late Sept. There might have been 4 other campers! The owners are very friendly and helpful, offering free fire wood, free paddle boats and canoes, the showers are free also! The laundry was clean and the machines worked well! One of the owners told us about a "secret spot", where we watched the sunset over the lake. Absolutely perfect! I wish we could have stayed a few nights!

Wow, the new owner and his excellent staff have turned this place into the best RV stop in the Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint areas. Clean, great location, great camping and RV spots. And it's away enough for relaxation and close enough to town for convenience.
