I stayed just for an overnight 6-17-2025. It is a small campground and all the more private sites were taken when I arrived about 3pm so I ended up in one of the tenters parking lot spaces. Ok for just an overnight, but, if I were planning on being in the area longer, I would definitely want to be in a different spot. But, it was a quiet, relaxing stay. Campground was well maintained and easy to get to. I had enough coverage to stream videos and shows with Verizon.

Would never have found this absolutely adequate campground so close to Coeur d鈥橝lene without this App. Felt pretty lucky getting a site in beautiful weather in Early September at the last minute. There is a host that delivers fire wood. 3 pit toilets, clean-ish and supplied, one door would not lock. The first 8 sites are park and walk in tent sites (but you can sleep in your car/can also). The other 9-19 are back. 12-19 more private with bushes dividing. 14 is a double site. One water source for drinking water. Good place to stay if you are passing through or need a place close to a resort town. Use your senior or other Federal (National Park type) pass for a $12.00 night. Otherwise $24.

Delightful park just off the freeway. Quiet, no road noise. We lucked out on a Sunday night when a reserved site opened up.

We stayed here overnight while on a road trip and found it to be a nice alternative to nearby RV parks. While I wouldn芒鈧劉t necessarily make a longer stay here, it芒鈧劉s was a sweet overnight spot with some sites in the trees.

The drive in from the interstate was a lovely, winding road at the lake芒鈧劉s edge. Quiet, small national forest campground with pit toilets and water, no hookups at sites. Level sites with a variety of lengths (longer rigs will want to reserve ahead芒鈧漺e芒鈧劉re in a 24芒鈧劉 sprinter van and can park anywhere), a couple double wide spots, some heavily treed, some sunnier. Host was friendly and gracious. The place tends to fill overnight given its proximity to the interstate芒鈧漢ost was willing to allow us to set up in a parking area (reduced price) since we芒鈧劉re self-contained, if neither of the remaining sites were workable...also said since most visitors are in need of sleep when they arrive late in the day, they do what they can to put people up even if full.

Lots of tent spots and four of them have protective coverings you can either camp under or put the tables under. There's a pump for fresh water a a couple toilet buildings spaced out accordingly. Prob key not a great spot for the ever increasing in size behemoth RV's out there, but I like it. It's plain Jane, but it beat the last NF place which didn't have any water. I simply want a toilet, a flat spot, fresh water and if possible, a table to make me a happy camper!

August 2014: $10 with Golden age pass. Paved road and site. Sites are very small, mostly for small campers and tents. 1 - way road through campground was so narrow that trees were brushing both sides of my motorhome. And the last mile before reaching the campground was so narrow that I wouldn't want to meet someone coming the other way. I won't come back.

Beauty Creek Campground is a typical national forest campground. For the price charged, the place should be better maintained (very large potholes along the drive) and there should be at least running water in the bathroom. I could go on, but my point is this campground is not well maintained.
