Area is a bit sketchy but we just needed a place to pull off for a night. Was able to park away from folks who looked like they are living out here. Very busy with dirt bikes etc but got quite when it turned dark. Yes you can hear the interest but wasn’t bad. Supposedly there is an area where there are 3 campsites w fire rings and picnic tables but we didn’t see it. We were there on a Monday night.

Don’t know how this place got a 4 star review. We pulled in & thought the paved trail looked nice, but then we drove to the back side of the little lake to the camping area. Rough, pothole gravel road led us to a few very bad looking spots. We pasted two rough looking trailers with sketchy looking folks who stared at us. We promptly turned around & left ASAP.

Very nice for no charge. Paved hike/bike trails around the lakes and into town about 5 miles away. Seems to be a popular day use area for locals but all quiet after sunset. Signs say 5 day camping limit but no one else around.

Good boondocking spot for a night or two. Plenty of level gravel areas to park. The Snake river runs next to the area overall it is nice. Downside is that it is close to the freeway so there is lots of road noise all night.

Good place for boondocking. Lots of flat space with walking paths nearby. It’s near the highway so there is some traffic noise but it’s not crazy. Come and get a free waterfront spot. We are camping here on a Monday night and haven’t seen a soul. Signs say you can stay up to 5 nights. Spots are gravel so pretty easy to stabilize.
