Please don't be fooled by their walkup sites. The locals come and pay several days (sometimes 8 days)ahead of time leading up to the weekend and the weekend/holiday. Their paid tag is placed on the post and no one else can use the site. Most of the walkup sites were completely empty, unoccupied, and unusable by RVers passing through. We asked the official and he said this is acceptable. Not in Florida or any other state we have visited. The site must be occupied. Seems the park employees can then claim full campground occupancy and do not have as much work since the sites are empty. What a waste. We were very disappointed.

What a gem!!! Large, level site with beautiful veiws. Very low rates. Yes, the bathrooms are a good ways off, but for self-contained rigs this is as good as it gets!

Several loops around the lake, our site on highest loop overlooking lake, good breezes, shade here and there, bathhouses might be a good walk from sites. No office or staff, just a helpful host, payby check in envelope at entrance post.

Very nice campground. Beautiful view from the camp sites . There is not a lot of privacy between sites but the way the sites are set up every camper has a great view of the lake. We stayed in site 34 which had just electric hookup. Would come definitely come back to this SP

This is a great stop! About 8 miles from route 80. Good level back in spaces. Quiet. Windshield facing the peaceful beautiful lake. Some spaces have full hook up for $16. We chose electric only for $11. We are camping here in a 40 foot motorhome.
All Stays said they are only open through September. But the website said open all year. This is October now, and they are open.
