This is NOT a four star park, 95% of the campers are thirty year old working types who don’t care about junk around their trailers. My neighbor has two dogs tethered on long cables that can reach to my trailer where they sleep. I picked up a large pile of dog feces in front of my steps. There are children riding around the park on two wheelers, four wheelers and electric powered scooters constantly during the day and into dusk, with a park speed limit of 5 MPH I don’t think I saw one car/truck going less than 30 MPH someone’s child is going to get hit. The park was mowed one time while we were here but they just mow around the junk, no edging or trimming. We were here in June, 2020, the pool was covered, we did not use the laundry or bathrooms but the water hose that provides water to the facilities runs next to our space. At $40.00 per night this place is no Value.

This could be a really nice campground. If maintained. We were here in mid June during some very warm (hot) days. The pool was not opened and the pool cover had about 8 inches of stagnant black water over it and swarms of mosquitos. The park itself was mowed but not trimmed ( high grass around the water and electric posts). The sites are level and the gravel interior roads are ok. It’s a little difficult to find by gps, we called the campground to get directions.

This is a really cute little campground. Nice pull through sites. Very cheap even for full hook up. Camp host greeted us even though we were a late arrival, 9:30 pm. Mississippi River Museum is nearby, it is fantastic, kids loved it. Down side to this place is finding it. Our Garmin could not find the Middle Rd address, Google found it but placed it on the wrong side of the road. The Pennsylvania address sent us the wrong direction on the road. The sign is small and only says camping. It is not lit at night. They are cash or check only. Having said that, I would absolutely go back, now I know how to get there.
