Liked this campground. Friendly staff. Grounds were well kept. We'd go back.

Very clean, most sights were small and the sites on Fort Ave (where I was are right on the road). The next time I will know to reserve a site in the back. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Bath rooms were old but private with a shower and toilet in each one and very clean. If I go camping on Tybee Island again I will stay here.

We did not book this until late. We had to call an after hours person named Joey. He was extremely helpful and kind. He found us a spot that was open and when we arrived he even helped us get settled. This place was great. We loved our stay here. So many people here rent golf carts and ride around the island. It is a casual, laid back beach town. We could have stayed a week. Dolphins really like this place too. We had a great time and the site was very clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall 5 stars!!! We will return!

We lucked out and were able to reserve two nights here on the Fourth of July weekend; on Saturday. The staff have all been wonderful. It's very clean.
The sites are smaller, but we didn't have any issues fitting our 30' motor home in.
It's an easy walk to North Beach.
It is an expensive place to hookup, but we were just happy to have found somewhere.
Yes we would return if we liked the beach. We prefer clear blue waters; these waters are muddy looking. The sand is rough as well; we prefer white soft sand.
Minor details though that have nothing to do with the campground itself.
I didn't give 5 stars simply because we wished the sites were a bit bigger.

RIvers End RV Park. - VERY BAD!!!
VERY BAD!!! ( I would use different words but the censors would not allow it! ). The camp sites were small with fire rings placed in such a way that you could not fit around the fire without sitting in the roads or your neighbors site. When we checked in we were given a site right on the main road. We were told to park within 18 inches of the road to fit our rig! The road is a busy road with cars driving past at 30 or more. The Police station is at one end and they routinely came by at high speed (45?) with their lights and sirens on. We have a 7 year old child and a dog and this spot was simply not safe for either. WHen we asked to change - even to pay more for a "premium site" (for 10 nights!). We were told no! they were booked full and had a waiting list for reservations.
AS to the Customer service, We originally booked for 10 nights and then due to circumstances, we were forced to change our plans. When we tried to change the reservation with 4 days notice (more than the 72 hr cancelation window) with the front desk they refused to offer any refunds even though we would not be staying at the park. We had read the cancelation policy and were following it but it is vaguely worded at best. I can understand a change fee or a loss of deposit but they charged us 10 nights anyway. VERY BAD!!! Not only did they refuse but they laughed at the fact that we would loose our money. THey were rude when we checked in, they were only open bankers hrs while we were at camp and the dog park was full of unclean dog leftovers.
JUst a side note on Tybee island. IT is NOT DOG FRIENDLY!!! There is next to no-where you can take your dog. NO Beaches, NO outdoor restraunts, NO marinas, NO walks by the lagoons or swamps.
IF I could give less stars than one I would.
PS. We have done 30000 miles in our RV over the past 5 years ( we are seasoned RV travelers ) and this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any RV Park hands down.
