Big private sites, the standard sites get alittle muddy when it rains. Roads are narrow and bumpy due to roots. New bath house up front. Standard site does not have septic only premium sites. Only stayed one night but will be back to check out the park more.

Stayed 2 nights in 35ft class A. Wooded unpaved site. Paved roads are narrow and bumpy in places due to roots under roads. Close to sightseeing sites and City. New bathhouse.

Sites shaded. Not on top of each other. Full hookups. Nice walking trail. Local high school cross country meet held there on a Tuesday afternoon. People and cars everywhere. Very pretty park.

Beautiful location in the Savannah suburbs with tidal marsh on one side and a McMansion community on the other. Campground itself is secluded and quiet. Obviously the staff takes pride in the place.
Sites are large, wooded, and well maintained. We had deer wander through camp.
Bathhouses are pretty much new. Every time I went in, I was impressed with the cleanliness.
Campground secret: I believe the staff are involved in a Jurassic Park program to bring back the giant ground sloths that used to roam the area. A source in the next stall at the bathhouse says there are actually several breeding pairs on the property and that they are Federally Protected. When one slothed through camp and started slowly going through my cooler, some guys in a golf cart pulled up and made my wife stop poking it with a spatula.
Be sure to get the full story from the ladies at the office before you check in.

A beautiful park with great pull through sites. Facilities are dated but well maintained. The best part is the site layouts with picnic tables and a patio area. Great configuration for privacy. Welcoming staff, and great proximity to Savannah.

We were thrilled to find this gorgeous campground with huge and private RV sites so close to Savannah! There are beautiful walking trails and even bike rental! The bathrooms were very clean! Highly recommend you pick up a bottle of No Natz at check-in as the no-see ums/ gnats were relentless! We will definitely come back!

Beautiful park with well-kept amenities (playgrounds and laundry). The location was convenient daily jaunts into Savannah and Tybee Island. Arrived to stay one night, but extended to two.
Very nice pull-through sites with full hookups.

We were looking for some place different and wow what a near future lace his is, a state park local to shopping and restaurants. Seriously this place is beautiful and pretty quiet. We love the tree with Sonia moss and the fact that it’s 70degrees in December. We will be back.

We stayed here 3 nights in July. We were in site 71, 50 amp, 40# water pressure, 2 spigots. The campground is very open so you can see most of your neighbors. However, the sites are very large so there is some privacy. The campground is under a huge live oak hammock with little understory giving a very picturesque setting. All sites have raised platforms for the table and a tent. The main roads are very wide and the secondary roads are passable for the largest rv's. The 2 main hikes are very nice and wildlife is abundant. We did have an issue with chiggers. I don't know where we picked them up, in the campground or the hikes, but both my wife and I are covered in them so beware. Other than the chiggers, this is a super great campground with good staff. We washed clothes in a newer speed queen washer/dryer with a very reasonable $1.25 per machine. Much of the park has recently been updated. There is very little to dislike about this place except the chiggers.
