The camp host (Nathan)called the MPs and lied on us. Three MP cars show up banging on our door and telling us we’re trespassing. We showed them our paperwork work and called the office on speakerphone to confirm we belonged on our RV site and the MPs left us alone without incident. The MPs and the front office both confirmed that the camp host called the MPs. The worst part of it all is that the camp host never attempted to contact us or knock on our RV door not once did he say anything to us. This was very disappointing and puzzling. The office and all other staff were pleasant and professional. The RV sites were laid out spacious and convenient. The grass was only cut once in our one month stay which by the way is the camp host responsibility. When we first arrived we asked the camp host about the extremely tall grass and he responded I am a volunteer but everyone else are paid employees.

The office staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. The RV site’s had tall grass that was cut once during our one month stay. We found out that the camp host was responsible for cutting the grass. We asked the camp host if we could cut the grass at our site and he (Nathan) stated that he would cut the grass but he was a volunteer and the others who worked there were paid employees. We extended two days due to unforeseen circumstances but the camp host called the military police and lied to them and they showed up (3mp cars) banging on our RV door telling us we were trespassing. We showed them our paperwork and called the office on speakerphone and the MPs were satisfied we belonged there and left us alone without incident. The MPs and the office confirmed the camp host called the MPs and the worst part of it all I the fact that the camp host never once knocked on our RV door or made any attempt to speak to us. That whole experience was puzzling, troubling, and very disappointing.

Very small park but seems to fit the bill. Price is right and has built-in security (on an Army facility). Fair amount of noise but the trade off is worth it. Park host is polite and helpful and residents seem friendly. We would return.

What a hidden gem!! Beautiful park, nice large level site and great place to "shelter in place" for COVID-19. Nathan, the host, takes great care of the park, and makes himself available if you have questions. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be back!

We have been here at Lott’s Island RV Park at HAAF for the past three days. Nate the camp host has been amazing. The MWR staff were wonderful at checkin. Our site was very spacious with lots of privacy. The location is perfect and in the middle of everything in Savannah. Will stay here again.

Was going to be a 2 star but the office personnel and camp host are great. The listing IS NOT TRUTHFUL, their wifi when down about a year ago and they have NO INTENTION of fixing it. Closest place to get it is the public library. You can go across post to the gym to shower and such, and the laundry is also across post. If u have an antenna he will pick up a half a dozen local channels the cable went down a few years ago and again have no intention of fixing it. The camp hosts is awesome the site is clean it's good for a few nights. It does give the impression of an unwanted child for the Army. As a retired military person it is my choice to move on. But there were a number of active personal staying there and it sure is not a way to show you care for their well-being and family unity.

Stayed @ campground 12 / 22 thru 1 / 2 had a WONDERFUL time. Campground was clean, camp sight was a great size with plenty of grass & OH the trees , how can you not love the Spanish moss hanging from them. Nathan our camp host was AWSOM. Bless his heart he was even out on Christmas Day tending to the grounds making sure everything was picture perfect. The camp is conveniently located close to everything malls, restaurants, Old Savanna you name it. Not only would I highly recommend this campground, but can’t wait to camp here again.
