Classic park, easy to make reservations, not a resort but what we love…
Staff was pleasant and helpful and not overbearing…
Would love to be here when the azaleas are in bloom..
Very convenient to old Savannah with a trolly that comes to the front…

I have been trying to get a reservation for over two months. I called several times no answer. I finally got in touch with an with a lady. I asked to make a reservation for September 2020. She said call back in August, that's it. Yesterday I saw there website saying they were taking reservations so I filled out the reservation form on line. I received a quick response telling me they only take reservations by phone. Then I called them today asked to reserve September 13 through the 17th. She quickly said the 13th is a Sunday. I said ok and I would like to check out the 17th. She said we could check in on the 12th or the 14th only. I explained I have reservations before and after her campground and asked is the 13th available? She said no. I understand the sabbath but that was not her excuse. It's a good thing I didn't wait until August to call back. She was extremely rude and obviously doen't need our business. I will be happy to obliged and not give it to them. It's a shame it looked like it was part of the history.

We didn’t actually stay here. We were looking for a spot to stay over for just one night while passing through Savannah. Saw the reviews about limited amenities, but didn’t mind since it was only for one night and we just wanted something close to the city. Called at 9am to reserve, but no answer. Checked their site again and the office didn’t open until 10. Called back at 10 and was told that we had to arrive during their office hours to check in even for a one night stay. Office closes at 5. I asked if they had a late arrival check in and the woman was really rude.
Ended up staying 15 minutes down the road at Savannah Oaks RV resort. Really nice place with all the amenities and super friendly staff. Hours are until 10pm and they escort you to your site.

It has hookups.... beyond that it’s a field to park in. $45 a night was a little ridiculous for zero amenities. Not even picnic tables. One thing I found plentiful was bugs!

It’s obvious my criteria for a campground are different than those before me. This place has nothing. No bathrooms, no picnic tables, no WiFi. The cable is also different. You have to connect the cable directly through a box to a specific tv. Therefore only one tv has cable instead of the entire RV. While the one mail road is asphalt, the sights are dirt. It looks like they had gravel a long time ago, but now they’re dirt. With a week of sporadic rain there was mostly mud in our site. The one positive is the sites are long and wide. If all you want is hookups this is the place for you. I’ll not be returning.

This campsite is very good and near the Beautiful city of Savannah. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. Ideal place to visit this city.

A pretty nice place with no frills and a serious amount of road noise from the highway. Very convenient to downtown - about a 10 minute drive - or the trolly will pick up here if you pre arrange with the office. Our spot was level and large and mostly grassy although the water and electric Hookups were very wacky and pretty far away from our spot. Office staff was very helpful and kind when making reservations and confirming them.

Nice staff and okay place.
Upsides: good location to downtown, no issues while there, friendly staff,
Downsides: some road noise, limited pull thru sites (none available at my arrival), lots of full timers, grass site, not level, abit high priced for the quality.
I paid monthly and stayed in Fifth wheel with two slides. I would stay again.

No frills campground. Well maintained Very convenient to savanna historic attractions and tybee island. Staff was very willing to assist and make recommendations. Front campsites have considerable road noise. Much better in sites located in back. Satellite would be difficult to get in back sites as they are very shaded by beautiful live oaks. Took trolley from campground to downtown. Picks you up and returns you to campground for a full day in Savannah. City bus to downtown stops right in front of campground. Very level sites and working fhu pretty reasonable rates when using goods am discount. Would definitely camp here again.

We were on the road it was raining, snowing, sleeting and made a reservation. They said they had a spot. When we got there the campsite was a mud hole. When I ask the man that showed me where the site was if he had anymore sites, he got very agitated and inform me they had a lot of rain . This site could have been fix with a little gravel, it had been this way for a while. I just can imagine What my camper would have look like if we would have stayed. I don't understand somebody running a campground and expect someone to camp in a mud hole. Must of the other sites were grassy and look very nice.
