We've been here many times. Very quiet and safe location. Plenty of places to visit off base, but to get to the beaches is nearly an hour drive, even though it's probably just a couple of miles as the crow flies. Some GPS apps will take you down Point Peter Rd. DO NOT FOLLOW those directions. That gate is permanently closed and if you have a big rig you'll have difficulty backing up and turning around. Use Franklin Gate or Stimson Gate ONLY! Facilities are great and they often hold events, especially during holidays. The place is very clean. Hosts always on duty. Verizon service is weak but usable. Cable on most sites and decent wifi.

This is a well kept secret! Beth (Reservations) is a pleasure to work with. Nancy (Host) is informative, helpful and a pleasure to meet. The site speaks for itself: Clean, Open, Beautiful!

Nice and quiet, concrete site and level, FHU, lake view, very nice lady in the office, very helpful.

Eagle hammock is great! Spent over a month here. Dan & the camp hosts are SO friendly & helpful! We stayed in the new pull thru sites by the lake. Concrete, level, spacious. Great areas & trails to walk dogs. Clean bathrooms & free laundry! Very quiet & peaceful. Love this place & we will definitely be back when in the area!

Visiting family near Jax, this was a great place to stay. Very well kept park with concrete pads and perfect for rigs of all sizes. Full hook ups.Beautiful bathrooms, lake with gators :-), greenery well manicured and priced very reasonably. Camp hosts are very helpful! St Mary is the place to go for things to do. Riverside Cafe is a must. We will be back!

Really nice RV park. Wish we could have stayed longer. Very nice sites with picnic table, fire pit and concrete pad. Large bathhouse with multiple showers and toilets. Nice big sink area with mirror to dry hair, apply makeup or just get dressed away from the wet shower area. Nice laundry room with multiple washers and dryers. Lots of grassy area to walk fur babies as well as a decent fenced pet area for off lease time. We stayed in a class A motorhome with CRV towed and had plenty of room. We will definitly return. Peaceful and quiet park. We camped at Eagle Hammock RV Park in a Motorhome. Directions are a little difficult to the park since gps wants to take you in a gate that's closer to the park, but not open anymore. Make sure to write down gate directions when making reservation.

Cleanest most well maintained campground we芒鈧�鈩�ve been to. Staff is friendly- they leave campers alone and don芒鈧�鈩�t constantly 芒鈧�艙police芒鈧�聺 the campground. Tons of places to walk your dogs and ride bikes.
