This was our 3rd stay at Jekyll Island and we have never been disappointed. As with nearly all private campgrounds, sites are closer together than I like.My wife and I enjoy bicycling and the island provides a lot of opportunities. The campground facilities are good but will soon need upgrading. We always enjoy our stay here and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff help keep us happy. We will be back again, god willing.

Lots of trees make the park shady but also hard to maneuver around and leave lots of leaves on top of the sandy surface. Some of the roads are paved, none of the campsites are paved; just hard packed sand and Live Oak leaves. We had a fairly level pull-thru site with 50 amp FHU芒鈧劉s, picnic table and fire ring. The views are into the dense woods mixed with palm trees, palmettos, live oak and Spanish Moss; sand-fleas and mosquitoes are voracious. After adding the nightly cost: $45 + pet deposit of $3.25 per pet + $10 daily charge to enter the island, I芒鈧劉m not sure I would return here.

This campground is great! Full hook up and the staff is very helpful. The campground is convenient to everything and is very quiet even though when we stayed it was very crowded.

A nice facility, staff was especially friendly and helpful. Excellent wi-fi.Shower and bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained. My only knock on the place is that even on a sunny day, the trees are so tall and full that little sunlight gets to your campsite. Beautiful live oaks covered in Spanish moss, but the lack of sunlight in the campground can leave a gloomy appearance. Regardless, Jekyll Island campground is a place I have already reserved a spot at for next year.

Campground was quiet. Friendly staff. WiFi worked great. Several beach accesses that are 1-3 miles from campground. Be prepared, the mosquitos there are on steroids. We could not sit outside of the camper (even after bathing in mosquito repellant) without being attacked by the blood sucking monsters.

Excellent stay. Staff was very friendly. The campground is wooded but we are 13芒鈧劉 6芒鈧 tall 5th wheel. Had no troubles. Best WiFi we have found at any campground. Plenty to see and do on the island.

Great campground.Hosts are very helpful. If there were cement pads I would have given 5 stars. Wifi works . Beautiful island for walking the beach, cycling and bird watching.

Great camping RV. Very easy to pull in set up and find your site. Staff friendly not over friendly as stated by others. Drew out the direction and location of site on map. Very quiet area you need to think ahead and would highly recommend marking reservations. Island is beautiful, beaches are great some dog friendly. Only restaurants, hotels, residential homes, water park, museum and one gas station on the island. If you don't want to leave the island plan ahead. Cost 6 bucks a day to access the island or 28 a week. Closest WalMart is 8 miles away. Would come back and we are planning on it.
