I apologize for the length of this review, but to be accurate, I have to explain the circumstances. We stayed at L&D for the first time on March 25 to 27. We liked the park, and the people seemed nice. We go past them regularly, as it is part of the pathway between our home base and our grandchildren. Since we liked it, we decided to make it a regular stop. Stayed again on July 14. At that time, informed them that our next reservation on Aug 1 was possibly going to need to be cancelled. We had planned to go stay with our family again, but there were health issues (the reason we were going back to home base for couple of weeks.) We were considering staying in home base but were waiting for a test result. The results came in just a couple of days later, and showed a need for my wife to have a surgical procedure. I called L&D (to the best of my knowledge) during the week of July 18 to 22 and cancelled the Aug 1 reservation. I check my charges closely and was very surprised to find in the early days of August that I was charged for a night’s stay at L&D for Aug 1. I called immediately, and was shocked to find the woman on the phone completely unlike what I had experienced in person—she was rude and condescending, and informed me that the ticket was closed, so she could NOT do a refund. This is a ridiculous lie! You may have to do a new entry, but you just do a credit. She said she could not, no way, no how. We went back and forth a couple times, for a couple of calls, and she informed me she had talked to the owner, and he would not authorize a refund either. I then told her I would be doing this review, and she said she would send a check for a refund if I would not write it. I agreed. I have now been waiting 9 months for a check, and have seen nothing. At this point I’m not doing the review to be mean to the park people. I’m doing this review so other campers will know to make sure that if you do reserve at L&D and need to cancel, that you CALL on the day of the original reservation, and remind them that you cancelled—that you are NOT a no show, so they should NOT charge you.

Great little park to stay for the night. Right off the Interatate and tucked away. Family owned. Level pull thru site with easy full hookups. We were in a 45’ coach. There were several people who looked to be living there in their RV but the park was clean and very quiet. We will definitely stay here again. Sweet owners!!

Nice little park. Well lit sign at the entry. (Surprising how many places don’t have this.) Really nice friendly owners and a treat bag for our dog. Good pull thru site with full hookups, good power and level enough we didn’t have to do anything. Wish there were more places like this. We stayed in a 30’ travel trailer pulled by a Ram 2500.

We traveled all day and L D RV Park had a spot for us late in the evening. The staff that answered the bell was extremely accommodating and helpful! I so appreciate the hospitality and I toured of the park on a walk and found it was just what I always look for. If you find yourself in Forsyth GA, definitely stop by and and see for yourself. Thank you and the park is on my Georgia list for sure!!

Perfect overnight stay on our trip to Florida. Owners are very nice and accommodating!!! Can’t say enough good things about them. Our spot wasn’t super level but nothing we couldn’t handle. Quiet and comfortable. We will be back!

Very clean, quiet, very small campground. Owners very nice. We had a pull thru site but very close to our neighbors. I don’t think we could have put out our awning we were that close. Some sites maybe are a little bigger than what we had and had picnic tables which we didn’t and I thought that odd. Perfect for a quick overnight stay. Not really good for pets or kids since it really has nothing for them. I would stay again for overnight but not long term. We travel with two elementary age kids and a dog.

Nice, affordable, little park. Quiet, country setting convenient to l-75 but far enough not to hear traffic noise.Clean facilities and grounds. Would definitely stay here again.

We usually boondock going to and coming from Florida however this trip we had a problem with our house batteries. We called them late after the office was closed and were grateful that they answered. This was a really great place to pull in and stay for the night. Only 2 1/2 miles from from I75. Our site was level and the night was quiet. The electric box was handy.

Easy access off of 75 on our way through to Atlanta and beyond. Enjoyed the quiet and friendly atmosphere and serene country setting. Great little salt water filtered swimming pool in the heat of July. We could not however get the internet to work. Would stay here again. $27 with retired military discount.
