Beautiful small campground with a nice lake. The campground is just 1 mile off the paved road down a hard packed, single lane forest road. That 1 mile took 30 minutes in our 30' motorhome. Nothing terrible, just rough road surface and single lane but there was good clearance from the trees and no tight corners. There are a couple of spots in the road that are slightly wider in case you encounter oncoming traffic. One of the 11 campsites was out of commission because of a fallen tree and a couple others had pads way too sloped for us to level but others were relatively level and plenty long enough. The campground is right on the bank of the lake. A short trail goes around the lake and another connects to the Appalachian Trail with some beautiful views along the way. If you have a National Park Pass, the camping fee is half. We paid $4 per night. We had no service with ATT in camp but we did at the paved road. If you're a light sleeper, you might need earplugs for the very loud bullfrogs.
