Perhaps the finest Army FAMCAMP. Excellent scenic location; THE basecamp from which to enjoy outdoor adventures. If you’re looking for satellite horizons ask for a site in the 30’s. $24 = Full hookups.

Beautiful campground. Bath house clean & we’ll maintained. Asphalt pad level & great for walking on campground. Many deer, very quiet with commissary & PX short drive onto base. Looks like they’re working on pool for upcoming season. WiFi spotty but TV stations generally well received.

Excellent Campground. We stayed for a week and never got bored or got cabin fever. Office staff professional and friendly. Only sad thing, 2 camp hosts at sites 1&2, never saw or heard even as much as a hello.. we've been to other Famcamps and the hosts were welcoming. Guess these 2 are there for the free camping.
Would come back in an instant, 10 out of 10 best Famcamps.

Beautiful, huge pull-thru lots. Very clean and well-maintained. Very friendly staff. Lots to do with hiking and biking trails, playgrounds, pool, and then all the marina/boating activities within walking distance. Will definitely be back.

Nice spacious campsites. well maintained. Could not believe the size of the place. Few dumpsters for its size. No recycling on the newer area. And please be aware the long term campers do not pick up their lots or leash their doggs but let them run around free. Got chased by a Pitbull while walking my dogs. As stated previously shopping is quite a distance away.

Easy pull through but get here before 5pm or gates are locked. Get the code from campers inside gate. Very quiet. Deer everywhere. Roads too small to take camper to town. Not here long enough to take bike off trailer ( 1 night ).

My wife and I stopped here for a three-night stay on our way to Florida. Very nice Campground well maintained you're not right on top of your neighbors. Lots of things to do fishing bird-watching Wildlife , observation hiking, and boating. This place gets a big thumbs up for me.

This camp is by far the nicest we have ever been in. Great facilities, beautifully wooded, quiet, dump drain at every site, elec. And water good, clean everything, nice swimming pool for all. If any negative, it would be the driving distance to the commissary and exchange was quite a ways, about 3 to 4 miles away, but well worth the visit to them both, they are huge and well stocked. Close by is one of the finest museums we've ever been to, the National museum of U.S. Infantry, displaying every war the U.S has been in. Don't miss it! We rate it a 6! We will definitely stay there again!

A beautiful camp. Right along the river and minutes from main post. Only one aspect kept me from rating them a solid "5"...the water pressure was laughably low. Showering was like standing under a stuttering butterfly.
