Nice small park, showers available, boat launch. Lots of oak and cypress trees. Some campsites front a small bayou like area. Lots of birds and wildlife, was told there were alligators but didn't see any. Camp host was very informative. No human noise but at night there was a wildlife symphony going on! Water and electricity at sites with a sewer dump available. Price is $24 per night, no reservations taken, $12 per night with a senior pass (use option 2 on the kiosk), gate shack is not always manned. Great park!

Pleasant, small campground. Stainless steel lined showers have a shared changing area. All campsites fairly level - those along the water have a deck with stair steps down to the water.

Hunter and fisherman's dream camp. It's in the back country in a heavily wooded area.

We stayed here 2 nights on 7/26 and 7/27/14. There are about 25 sites and the park was about 1/3 full. Most of the campers also brought boats as there is a boat launch. The campground is typical COE: Clean, well thought out, and friendly. They don't take reservations, but I don't think this park gets a lot of visitors. The view of the lake is limited. There is a resident host. The area is well known for gnats and this campground was no exception. Most campers had a strong fan to keep the pests at bay. I would definitely stay here again.
