Just got here. The website said this site was level, it is not. We would have to lift the back wheels off the ground to get completely level. So, for our one night we will be a bit off. Also, the hookups are are the back passenger side of the site which is probably not workable for sewer dumping. We’re in site 38 which is 5c on their map. And yeah, can’t wait for the trains that blast through all night.

Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Allatoona Landing Marine Resort. Getting to the campground requires going over a rough railroad, but doable. The road in the campground is paved and in OK condition. The tree on the exit road needs to be trimmed. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. There is a small camp store. Small size parking area at office. Not sure if seasonal campers are there, though some sites looked ragged . They provide a map to the site. The road signage to our site was OK. Our site was not level. It had a paved site and dirt patio area with a picnic table. The site had a good view of the lake, but also of the rundown marina storage lot. The site was dry. Site was water and electric only. Sites seem to have a good space between each other. Bath house is good. I did not see the laundry room. The swimming pool was in a different location, and not convenient and no hot tub. No rec room. No workout fitness area. The grounds are OK. No cable tv. Over air antenna was poor. Wifi was OK. Verizon cell service OK. So here is the bad: Most sites are not full hookup. Most sites are not level. The only sites that are any good at all would be 53, 54, 56 or 59. I would only come back if nothing else was available. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

Our family of 5 really enjoyed the campground and Murphs paddle boards rental. Went 4th of July weekend and it was a great atmosphere full of families having a great time. Security was on the premises for caution. The train did go by the campground but just added to the experience. We had our fans running at night so never bothered us and we had a full hook up sight backed up near the tracks. Will be back for sure.

Beautiful setting , well kept, mature trees, friendly staff. Lots of feral cats around the dumpsters. We picked this spot for an overnight on our trip south. We just wanted a quiet place to sleep. Freight trains run past the campground every two hours making sleep difficult.

This place is gorgeous, clean, and simply a MUST stay! The cascading pines that overlook the entire park is breathtaking.

This campground is nothing like its website. Do not let the 'Resort' in its name fool you. There are a limited number of full hook-ups and they are a nightmare to back into. THIS IS NOT A BIG RIG-FRIENDLY CAMPGROUND. Do not let them tell you otherwise (I called before we got here). The office personnel seem inexperienced and are unfamiliar with RV size, needs, and accessibility. There is no appearance that they inspect sites in between rentals, there was trash and big ruts of mud in the site they assigned us. Do they mention the train on their website? They do not! It runs through several times a night. I mean it is right next to the campground. Extra's: no wi-fi, feral cats everywhere (if you have a dog or cat this could be an issue, we have a cat), loose manhole covers that sound like gunshots when run over, etc., and so on. We have been on the road FT for 7 months and this is my first negative review. I'm pretty tolerant of most things, including campgrounds that are not so fancy. But if you advertise fancy, you should be better than this.

Very roads backnice staff. Restrooms were very clean and large The directions should have included turn at sign that includes marina before the railroad tracts. The road from the interstate is narrow.

Nice park however we have a 42 foot 5th wheel and backing in was impossible. Finally drove around park a few times ( turns where to right to go in both directions) to get going in best direction to drive through another site (unoccupied) to access our assigned space. Site had 50 AMP, water and cable hook up (cable was not the best quality signal). Grounds are very pretty, trees throughout grounds and lake front sites for tents/smaller RVs. Would stay again but plan ahead and reserve pull through site if you have a large rig.

Campground was very nice with concrete pad to park on. Not many sites with full hook up. We had electric and water only. The cable did not work. The facilities were very clean and nice. Stayed one night, but probably never again. The trains come right beside the park, and we had at least 5 come through overnight. The trains were noisy enough, but with a crossing there they lay on the horns will passing through.

We stayed here for an overnight. We very much enjoyed the staff, the site we had and the quiet of the campground. There is a train track near the park. Our site was 44C. We could hear the trains occasionally. Not frequently though. The train noise wasn’t enough to disrupt our sleep either. We will absolutely stay here again. Security 24/7, gated and concrete pads at every site we saw. The shower house was very nice and clean as well.
