Nice State Park right off of I-20. Great hiking, there is a nice 6 mile loop near entrance to park. Verizon wireless worked great. Overall campsites were nice. Showers and bath areas clean. Great for birding.

Wow. What a great campground built on a peninsula that juts into the lake. Private spacious lakeview sites among huge pines. Modern clean restrooms. We were only able to stay one night in late March, but God willing, we hope to come back someday.

No peace,, ever. We had to listen to a leaf blower running 8 hours a day starting at 9am every day including Sunday morning the day after Christmas. We could not convince the manager that people do not come to rural State Parks to listen to leaf blowers all day. He stated that he did understand that it was a nuisance, he just repeated that that was the way that they did it. No exaggeration. ALL DAY LONG. If you want peace and tranquillity, this is the absolute last place you want to visit. We full time. We’ve been to many State and private parks. None of them require constant leaf blowing. Enjoy the view, listen to the birds chirp and soak in the peace somewhere else because it will not be found at Mistletoe State Park. Also, although there was non stop leaf blowing occurring, all of the roads in the park and the camp sites, including ours, was still covered with leaves and pine straw. Many cities and towns have outlawed leaf blowers. You can’t fly a drone or disturb the wildlife in any way in State Parks yet they run a leaf blower constantly throughout the day. Why?

Totally agree with prior reviews. This is a beautiful state park with level water front sites. Nice clean washrooms. Close to shopping ~15 miles. We stayed on site 27 just prior to Labor Day 2021. Loved it!

Had a great stay. Started out in site #6 and was able to move to a waterfront site (#9) after they had a no show. Park seemed half empty because of Covid, didn’t use the showers/restrooms, but they looked well kept from the outside if the building. Lots of nice hiking/biking trails. Will definitely come back again.

Very pleasant State Park with many sites waterfront. Water can be accessed directly from the sites with kayaks/canoes/paddleboards. Cell phone service is excellent, no WiFi. Sites are water/electric only with a few dump stations scattered through the park. Restrooms have showers with warm water and were very clean for our visit. The restroom nearest this loop ('comfort station') even has a washer and dryer. Overflow parking very close for storing a TOAD. We are in site 35 and all the waterfront sites on this loop are nice. Gravel pads, very close to level. Bring a hammock and a good book! Enjoy!!

Spacious gravel sites (most on lake) for our 19ft TT. Many pull-thru sites. #69 was great. Lots of walking trails. Bathrooms could have been cleaner.

Stayed here June 14-16 of 2019. We had a blast! The campsites all seemed pretty level and easy to access. Most sites are waterfront and provide good views for sunrise or sunset. The road within the campground can be pretty tight with trees but I did not have a problem with a 30ft TT

Very nice park! We had lot 67 and electric post was messed up. Rangers came right out and could not fix it. Moved us right to another site. Everything worked great at the next site. Will be going back soon!!
