I really like this campground, although I think it might not be for everybody. Eleanor Oaks is located in Yankeetown, a rustic slice of old Florida with a great nature preserve and a very good restaurant, both within walking distance of the campground. The many mature trees make this campground special; it feels peaceful and made for relaxing. Sites are a little close together but that芒鈧�鈩�s typical for Florida. When we were here, there were a few largish motorhomes but primarily towables. The sites could be more level; I think motorhomes would have trouble leveling enough to extend slides. (We are in a Class B so we were plenty level.) The campground is mostly for seasonals but there were several sites available for transients. There are daily activities, as well as a nice rec hall and swimming pool. The bathrooms are small, but the shower stalls are brand new and spotlessly clean. The laundry room is also small but clean with reasonable rates. The WiFi is excellent. The office staff is friendly and helpful. All in all, we enjoyed our few days in this campground.

Nice little park. No longer accepts Passport America (Feb 2023). Pool small but very clean and very warm. Cycle paths and nature trails around. Very much in the countryside. 芒鈧�艙No-see-ums芒鈧�聺 were biting when we were there in mid February.
