Currently in site 13. All these lake sites are the best. Other sites are so-so. This place is small and very quiet. Superb lake views from super private sites on the lake. Nothing to do here but trails at Fort Braden offer excellent hiking and only 2 miles down the road. Bathhouse is good but dated and a bit run down. Cellular signal is good. This is the second time we’ve been in site 13. Sites are gravel.

Great small, quiet, private campsite. Site 15 was right on the lake with a great table and fire ring with grill. A little tight to set up our 30ft TT but would recommend highly and would definitely stay again if in the area. 15 min to FSU and downtown Tallahassee. Bring your boat and fishing gear for easy lake access.

Beautiful shady spot beside the lake. Peaceful and quiet. Camphost very friendly and helpful. We stayed overnight in a 35ft 5th wheel. Gave it a 4 due to a few low hanging limbs. It accommodated us well but feel anything longer would be a challenge. We will return if ever in the area.we stayed May 5th 2019

We stayed one night 3/1/19) on a last minute reservation, made by telephone. This review is simply meant to refresh previous comments. This is a small, lakeside park. Our site, #14, was gravel, nicely level. It accommodated our 28 foot Airstream, but we had to unhook our tow vehicle to fit all the way in. 30 amp electrical and water, dump station nearby. Restroom facility adequate. Beautiful surrounding area, and super quiet. Great location.

I visited Jan 26-28 2017 - the weather happened to be warm this particular weekend - the campground is run by the county - the campground was great and was $27 a night - 30 amp power, water and WiFi - WiFi signal was weak - (I suggest investing in an alpha booster and repeater - I will be buying both ASAP!) - there are not sewer hookups at each site but there is a dump station as you exit the park - you can reserve online but in order to do so you must reserve at least 48 hours prior to arrival date - I missed the 48 hour cutoff so I called the phone number listed on their website - I was told certain sites were already reserved but once I arrived they were available and the reservation for those sites weren't scheduled to arrive for several more days - my advice is to reserve early however don't be afraid to just show up and use the honor box at the entrance of the park - each site has a wipe board with the next guests arrival date - the lakefront sites are 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 16. #7 and #16 are good but the road curves at those sites and car lights are likely to shine into your rig, #11 and #15 are pull through, #11 has a better view, #9 and #13 are back in sites, #13 has the best view, it has the least amount of trees obstructing the view of the lake - check their website... the size of each site is listed so you know if your rig will fit. The restrooms were clean and the property was beautiful and peaceful - avoid this place on FSU football home games as it will be packed otherwise it's quite.

Very nice County Park !
There are pull thru as well as back in sites. All have fire rings and picnic tables on gravel level sites. Some sites are right on the water. No sewer drop at sites. Bath house is satisfactory. It is not heated nor does it have AC. Payment is by an Honor Box in the front.
Tally does not have many RV Campgrounds, and the ones that they do have, produce poor reviews. I've heard that on weekends this CG is almost full, but almost empty during the week. 10 day max stay length.
