Crushed shell sites closely spaced and relatively small, so there’s no privacy. Several sites face the St. Lucie canal; enjoyed watching boat traffic and an alligator. Difficult to get full hookup, so booked a W/S site (all sites will be full hookup once the remaining E pedestals arrive). Because adjacent sites share E/W hookups, every other site has E/W on the curb side. Sewer hookups are on the street side. More expensive than State Parks and there’s noise from I-95, but then, Phipps is in Stuart, so there’s that. Bathhouses are tidy, but showers could be cleaner, and the sink soap dispenser was inoperative. Two private shower stalls, but changing rooms are not private. Very hungry mosquitoes during evening hours even mid-Feb; should have expected that because temps are mid 80’s, but I wasn’t prepared. Grass lawn needs cutting. Excellent Verizon cell coverage.

This park is still under construction . There are 99 RV sites, but only 24 have full hook up at this time, all with water view. Site 23 was moderately level , crushed shell. Might be a mess in the rain. 1/2 the sites have sewer on opposite side as water and electric . Dusty- many fast trucks/boats passing to get to ramp. Lots of highway noise. disappointed that boat lock was not open for us to watch boats go through for 4 days. Over priced for what you get. Nov. 2022 class A.

Two weeks spent there recently. Busy on weekends and quiet on weekdays this time of year. Gentlemen working there is always busy keeping the place nice. Bathrooms are dated but clean. Looks like new ones actually redone were close to being reopened soon. Only thing I found as a negative the entity hired to cut grass drive their standup mowers way to fast on shale road and may hurt someone someday. I would stay here again

Clean, large bath house. Level, wide, grassy site F. Our site faced the river where the mullet jumped all day long! Good overnight spot, especially for the $.
