Best a WiFi and high def cable you could ask for. They spaced short-term campers far enough apart to be self quarantining during the COVID situation. Big old trees with Spanish moss gives it the old Florida feel. Minimal traffic and no train noise. I did not check out the bathhouse and as previous posters said, they seem to be working on updates. Would definitely stay again.

1/17/20 I stayed one night, nice place so I stayed a second night. The owner just bought this KOA 2 years ago and it was a mess, he has been working to fix it up. I was quite happy here, lawn was all mowed, dog area was nice, trash containers at multiple locations and none were full. I didn’t try the pool. Showers clean and good hot water. Everyone was very friendly, no complaints.

The KOA has some good sites, but they need to get control of the ants. I always spray as some as I set up, but they were everywhere. There is also a bunch of drifters in tents and permanent residents. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving anything outside our 5er. The pool was nice and clean and hot tub was working. But the people were a little sketchy around us. This would possible be ok for a one nighter like we did, but no longer. The people at the office were very friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful, restful stop over. This resort is nice, clean, and friendly. Took a walk to the rear of the property to visit with the cows in the adjoining pasture. The owners have built a very nice porch swing to sit and watch the cows go by. We will be back to stay another time.

Super friendly camp host & owner. You can see where they are working on improvements. The sites are level and long with just enough trees to offer shade in summer. We only stayed one night but would stop again when in the area.

Nice campground with beautiful sites shaded by large Spanish moss draped trees. Sites are large, services well placed and the sites at the back are enormous with at least 30’ between units. Pool and hot tub are nice, fire pits available, WIFI is better than most though no streaming. Good stop for a night or two. Not much to do in Perry. Campground would look spruced up if they picked up the fallen leaves.

Great park with new ownership. Wow, what a difference a year makes. We were here last year and the place was really ran down. Place was sold in March and the new owners sure have done a lot of work. Place is now very clean with nice size lots. We will definitely be back.

WATCH OUT FOR THE ENTRANCE TO THE PARK!!! Undercarriage damage probable unless you come from the north! Harmed my leveling system even with a crab approach from the south. Plenty of road damage in and out of the park. Staff blames FLDOT. OTHERWISE a nice overnight stay.

We stayed at the Perry KOA for an extended stay and it was horrible. We chose Perry KOA because it was convenient and looked nice in the pictures on their website. After a couple weeks we realized it was a huge mistake. The pool was nasty and in need of a paint job. The mini golf was completely destroyed and no attempt to fix it for the last 3 years (pics enclosed), other than the part time desk clerk and the owner Rick the mgmt and maintenance were the rudest staff I ever encountered at an RV park. To make matters worse the paper mill up the road made the most disgusting odor I ever smelled every weekend.

October 2015: This KOA was not up to KOA's standards. But if you are traveling south, as we were, it was the only semi decent campground in the area! Good for a one night stay, but not as a destination!
