There are 2 completely separate & different campgrounds here. Battleship row is a Top of the line RV park. Paved streets, Concrete pads, Manicured area,Laundry,Showers, even a pet washing station. Anchor Cove is 500+/- yards away. Well shaded, water & electric only. Staff is wonderful. But dirt sites and leaves everywhere. Both are on the water. Fishing and swimming. Comparison:is like living on base in the newest barracks, and then going to the field. But still would stay here again.

The nicest campground we've stayed at during a cross country trip. Quiet, in the woods,on the waterfront. Concrete pads, full service, private bathroom/showers. The hosts were very nice. A winner for sure.

Very good well run park. Staff knowledgeable and friendly, a tribute to the great leadership of the camp manager. The reason for only 4 stars is the lack of full hookup in Anchor Cove. In wet weather sand and dirt are impossible to keep out of the shower, this is NOT due to lack of effort by the staff, it’s just the way the layout is. Would we stay here again? A big definite YES

Many activities available. Level sites. In Alcove area showers and dumpsters can be a walk. Friendly host.

Extremely pleased with this site because of proximity to the bay, amenities offered, and of course, unbeatable price for military folks. His was our first ever RV stop and it spoiled us. Be aware that there are two sides to this campground - one that doesn't include sewer that has larger, more wooded/rustic sites and the other side that does have sewer hookups that has smaller, more crowded sites. We absolutely loved being steps away from the beach. There were also grills available at the pavilions. (We checked out Oak Grove while we were in town and while it has a better location the sites appeared smaller and more crowded.)

An excellent, we'll managed camp ground. It is all that is advertised about it. Very clean, outstanding bathrooms and family size shower facilities. We will stay here whenever we are in the area, if available. We'll done Navy (and I am an Army retiree).

Excellent park, clean and we'll maintained.
However, WiFi advertised and is on the park maps but you have to sit by the antenna to pick it up. I've seen the technician multiple times but never fixed in almost a year. No cable TV either.
No rules anywhere but it seems that portable hot tubs are now forbidden.

We stayed here for the first time in the battleship area. I give this place a five star rating, it's quiet, bathrooms are great, the area is so nice. The only concern I had was trying to get through to the welcome center. Over a four day period we finally made contact. Gave all info to man and he said he would call back after processing card, never happened. Day before we made contact and confirmed. Whew. Anyway good park.
