First of all, the RV sites are full hookup with water, electric, sewer, nice flat and level pads with either crushed rock or cement. Sites are good sized. Everyone here, guests, volunteers and staff are very friendly. Lots of wildlife, beautiful beach and easy access to stores, restaurants and other neccesties. The only negative we encountered was construction on the road by the gate. It might require some patience if you have a big rig. Mike D. 37 foot motorhome towing a car.

UPDATE: park is under major construction with water & electric off for hours each day. No heads up, no announcements on website that I researched. Typical bad management of Florida St Pks! I鈥檇 suggest another state!

We absolutely lucked out and we芒鈧劉re able to stay in the just opened area on the eastern side of the park (lagoon front) on the first night that it was opened! What a wonderful park!!! Our campsite was huge, level and had excellent connections. Great staff!! I only wish we could have stayed longer but we had travel obligations 芒藴鹿茂赂聫芒藴鹿茂赂聫芒藴鹿茂赂聫

Just reopened. Gorgeous and brand new everything. Lots of wild life. One of the best! Stayed here 5 days middle of January 2022.

We nabbed, at the last minute, 2 nights here the week before Easter. What a score! Stayed in waterside site 104 with a view out our class B of the Bay where we could watching the birds and boats as well as the dolphins. Magic. Sites were large and level, separated by rustic fencing, but sandy. Need your insect repellent, although the Bay breeze helped. Nice bathrooms and laundry available. Well worth the stop.

It's an old state park and it shows. Interior roads need help and finding the site number is a challenge. The beach is pretty far away from site 153. Deep site with lots of vegetation. Verizon 2-3 bars LTE. Several ota television stations. Looking forward to Topsail Preserve tomorrow.

Great park. Clean restrooms, friendly park rangers. Half the sites back onto the water, literally 10 feet from your site. It's gorgeous. Great fishing and sunsets from your site. Sites are narrow but private thanks to dense vegetation between the sites. Beach is 3 minutes away, by bike. Plenty of restaurants in town, 5 minute drive. Walmart is convenient.

All the review previous are correct. Half the park is a bit trashy, but the other half is pretty nice. It is close to the ocean so possibility of standing water and flooding is a concern. There are neat places to bike and walk around. The beaches are close and more scenic than other beaches in Florida. The piers, lagoon, gator lake, and shops made it a fun stay.

Would love to say this park is bad .stay away! But only because I don't want it to get filled up. Great park, great service. A limb was hitting the RV and when we called they immediately sent someone out to trim it. Views are fantastic. Some of the sites are over sized and can easily fit a 45' with toad. Were not impressed with the beach, lots of jellyfish, but it could be the time of year we went and that a tropical storm was coming. Panama City Beach is right outside the entrance. Campground was evacuated the day we were leaving because of storm. We plan on going back.
