Tucked away, peaceful, and serene. We’ve always snagged one of the sites where you pull straight in and face the river in our 42’ motor home. They’ve added small pea gravel on top of the sand so that helps keep sand from being tracked in. They have events (hot dog cookout & pot lucks) every Wednesday night and corn hole games every other Thursday if you want to socialize along with church on Sunday. We always stay four or five days as we head south. We don’t use the bath houses so can’t comment on those. There are great areas for dog walking and a large fenced dog area. Office staff is friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here one night during spring break 2021. The staff was friendly and we liked sitting on benches overlooking the Suwannee River. Would have been nice to have a picnic table and could have been a little cleaner. It’s in a remote area near the wildlife refuge. In case you need to work from campground, we didn’t have any Verizon cell coverage, but maybe that’s a good thing as can relax in nature.

For our second excursion a very nice spot. Although we felt it tight it was Memorial Day weekend. Helpful friendly staff, nice pool, clean well maintained facilities. Will try to stay here again when less busy and not so hot!

I am not sure that I can add much to the existing reviews, but I’ll try. This place is really lovely. Roomy sites, pretty location, nice landscaping, great pool and spa, friendly campers and staff. We arrived on a Friday and were able to attend the bi-weekly campfire with hot dogs and s’mores. It was a good way to meet other campers. Note that the roads and sites are all dirt (actually, sand). Our site, L, and several around us had recently been graded with sand due to the wet weather, which was great. Yet it did make it difficult to keep sand out of our camper. Not a big concern for us, but if you want/need a fully paved campground, look somewhere else. We loved it and hope to get back one day.

1/7/19: Quiet hidden gem tucked away on Suwannee River. Stayed 1 night on way thru FL and wish we could have stayed longer. Sky full of stars last night. Gorgeous sunrise over the river. Hot tub was great after a long drive. Clean, well spaced sites with natural beauty. Nice showers. Friendly staff. Loved it.

The road in seemed a little sketchy (neighborhood wise) but do not be deterred! This place is a hidden gem of beauty and peacefulness. Right on the quiet Suwannee River. It is like an escape from reality. The pool was fantastic, the laundry and bathrooms were clean and Bibbi at the front desk was an absolute joy to get to know. Please do yourself a favor and take the road less traveled to this wonderful place. Be sure to stop and swim at Manatee Springs on your way to or from Yellow Jacket!

So.. I found this place on ¿ìÈýƽ̨ app. It is a diamond ..hidden in plain site! It is an excellent example of a modern maintained RV Park! There is a choice of lots available both on and off the Suwannee River and they have huge spacious lots w/ plenty of privacy! The park layout is comfortable and roomy. The staff was helpful and did their assigned chores w/a touch of "going the extra mile"! This is just excellent place to land. I didn't feel cramped or lacking for space here! Do yourself a favor... follow your GPS to this location and enjoy a stay here... it was well worth the cost and I would recommend it and so will you after you stay! 5 BIG STARS! Yes! Yes! YES!!

Very nice..overall. ..

Have Boat rental but poorly maintained boats. Take your own GPS to help judge fuel or pay $$$$ for extra. No guages.

Squirrels got my cat!

The sites are large. There are lots of trees, many birds. By the water. Remote from town. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of bugs when we were there. We would go back. We stayed in a travel trailer for 4 nights.
