I want to warn others of the unethical business practices of the KOA at Moore Haven FL. Upon my arrival this year I made reservations for the months of Jan., Feb., and March of 2023 paying a $300 per month deposit for each month at a monthly rate of $800. Two months later I was informed the rates increased to $1250 per month and that my deposit is nonrefundable. I feel they should honor their agreement for the $800 per month rate or refund my deposit.

This park is a little out of the way, BUT is a very nice, clean, well managed park with the best rates in the area! Yes there all rules, but they are no different than other parks we’ve stayed at. Stayed the month of February and had good weather so we could enjoy the pool, which was clean and warm. Could use a shower house in the back section, where we were, but not a huge deal since we’re self contained. The spaces are large and level, gravel in the back section and concrete in the front section. All in all a good experience!

I would give this park 5 stars except for management. The nazi like mentality of the park’s manager and the indifference of the ownership make it difficult to really enjoy the many things the park has to offer. I will not return until she is gone!
