Phenomenal place, the staff was super friendly. Location is the best I鈥檝e stayed at so far. We had an ocean front pull through site and had a good time. Dog park was great also. Only thing was their cable was down but we spent most of our time outdoors anyway.

One of the best places we have stayed at. The sites are close but it comfortable fit my 45鈥 Coach on the level concrete pad. The entire RV park is exceptionally clean and you can tell the staff takes pride in the park鈥檚 upkeep. Reservations and check in were a breeze and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We are planning to comeback and stay longer the next time we are in the area.

Wow! This RV park is the best we have experienced!! Great customer service, wonderful grounds maintenance, free ice and laundry. Everything is so clean! We loved watching the ships and the beach was perfect. It rained most of the time we were there but the RV park is just wonderful! Highly recommend!

Super water view, paved level sites, best restrooms (clean & HEATED!), wonderful informative volunteer host, and free laundry. Book early! Cozy little recreation center offers games, business center & community kitchen. Free coffee in the morning 芒聺陇茂赂聫. Don芒鈧劉t rely on the MWR internet, but had 3 bars on 5G Verizon (via Xfinity Mobile).

Great RV park and excellent printing. Full hookups and water view for $30 a night. Less than a 1/2 mile walk to the beach. Very clean and laundry room has 4 washers and 8 dryers. It is free to use. PX and commissary is off base. Rode my bicycle and moped in base. Did a 20 mile bicycle ride around the perimeter of the base. We will most definitely come back.

Awesome campground! Waterfront camping with a front row seat for watchIng ships come into NAS Mayport and cargo ships headed to Jacksonville Port. Amenities are well maintained and cleaned daily. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
We camped in March when a Nor芒鈧劉easter blew in...sustained winds at 25-30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. It was difficult but added to the adventure!
Will camp here again!

What a great place! It appears there are frequent changes in reservations so when we called the first time they had nothing available. When I called back a week later, they had a block of time available at end of March thru beginning of April. We stayed 8 nights in a pull-thru facing the river in a 37芒鈧劉 fifth wheel. There was good spacing between sites and plenty of room to park my truck behind the fifth wheel. We had full hook-up with 50 amp service. Great reception from cable. Most pull-thrus are on a concrete pad with a picnic table also on a concrete pad. There is a good sized dog park, one for small dogs and another for large dogs with frequent doggy bag stations. Loved watching the assorted boats go in and out. Very quiet. 30 day maximum stay. Check in folks were very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be going back. Love it!

By far, one of the best military campgrounds in CONUS. We芒鈧劉ve traveled to around 107 according to our travel log and Pelican Roost is # 1 in so many ways. We booked a few days while traveling and running from west to east in between Snow, Ice and thunderstorm/ tornado storm event 2021, where the great staff, affectionately listed here as K & R, were wonderful, the site and grounds immaculate, facilities and services superb and the weather and view breathtaking. The grounds are on base, at the end of the peninsula at the Atlantic Ocean and St Johns river inlet. Sites are spaced well, very quiet for a Navy base, and unlike some folks, being retired, I enjoy seeing the ships and watching aircraft fly over. Well Done MWR-Mayport and thanks for having us, we芒鈧劉ll be back!

Stayed here for 4 days in Jan 20/21. We really like this place and stay here a couple times every year. Beautiful waterfront views, quiet, concrete pads, pull thru with full hookups. NEX on base, commissary a couple miles off base.
