Stayed 2 days. Quiet park because there was no other campers. Most sights are owned by public. Our water didn't work, so we connected 3 hoses together and hooked up to the next sight. Tried to use the restroom/bath house, but the lights wouldn't work. Day 2 their was a wedding at the state park. Later the reception was held in our park. So much for a good nights sleep before a long drive the next day. Would not recommend this campground.

Styed here in truck camper end of March 2016 for three days (23$ per day). Resort has hotel and campground with a small store. Most residents appear to be have trailers permanently on lots although few actually seem to live here. When I arrived on a Monday only one person was apparent at the resort. He said most people come on weekends. Econfina State Park surrounds the campground. A boat ramp for the park is a short distance from resort and costs 2$ to use. You can go up the river or about two miles down to the gulf. A nice area with a number of paddling destinations. Campground at close to end of road so must drive for activities. Resort seems to cater to motor boat fisherman but not as busy as southern Florida. Resort sites spaced out acceptably and on small pond. Wi-Fi was good. Bathhouse rustic but clean. Management friendly and helpful.
