We鈥檙e full-timers in a Class A. Roads were in good shape but very narrow; clubhouse is nice. Definitely a place for older retirees. Nice dog park, but mostly small dogs, many of whom wander the campground off-leash. The pool is nice, but unfortunately right at the main entrance crossroads and there鈥檚 only a chain link fence, so not at all private. Unstabilized soil; had to re-level the RV every other day (you鈥檒l need 2x12s under the levering jacks), and saw some deep ruts from a 5th wheel when they moved out. No gate, but the area felt safe. The entrance is not well-marked and easy to miss. A long way to drive to shopping or decent dining (which is mostly up in Sebring). Many people were very friendly; others a bit standoffish鈥�typical 鈥渟mall town鈥� atmosphere. The office staff isn鈥檛 as friendly as what we鈥檙e used to.

Reservation ( for 1 week) made 6 months in advance, charged & paid. Month before arrival added 3 days to orig week, again charged & pd. Arrived on requested date,no directions to site just numbers indicating : site changed on map to different site but site was already occupied, no one in office. Numerous calls & office mgr (?) came. Eventually site vacated, & we set up( 2 hrs after arrival!). 50 amp FHU Rates charged don鈥檛 match rates shown on park forms.. actually more. Day of departure, someone read elec meter & our cred. card was charged for electricity (for a 10 day stay!! )Noted when cc checked. Someone was on site when we arrived & no meter reading was done then! The accounting methods of this park are questionable, charging for electricity when daily/weekly rates include FHU, confusion upon arrival, both sites indicated on park map were occupied (!) , use of credit card without customer authorization and published rates not matching actual charges鈥�.RVer beware!
