Even though we were on a canal, our site wasn芒鈧劉t the greatest. And there is no grass anywhere so if you have a dog, it makes it very hard on them. WiFi doesn芒鈧劉t exist. 95% of sites are privately owned w so much 芒鈧搒tuff芒鈧 around. Looks trashy. I will say there is a new manager and staff who were very nice. We were suppose to have two sites reserved for us snd friends but that didn芒鈧劉t happen. I guess that was previous Mgt fault.

If i could i would give this campground a negative number. The streets are very thin and they have trees on corners, and entrance to your camp site. In fact i took a palm tree out and it did extensive damage to my RV. The office people do not know there campground because they marked on the map the way to the site. But a tree that almost took off my antenna was in the middle. I had to back up and go around and approach from the other direction. That is when I hit the Palm Tree going around a corner. I went to the office to report it and they said ok. DO NOT CAMP HERE

Warning! We have traveled the country from coast to coast and are experienced drivers. This is the worst campground ever as far as maneuvering goes! The streets are so narrow two cars can芒鈧劉t pass. Tree limbs are so low they scraped the roof badly on our Motorhome. We are 35 feet long and had only inches when turning in the park. Intersections are very poorly laid out. Most people here are in permanent housing with cars, boats, sheds and anything else you can imagine piled everywhere. Never again!

Office Staff was extremely rude. Worst experience I芒鈧劉ve had at campground in many years of camping.

Private owned lots with lots of stuff sitting around. Many sites weren芒鈧劉t being used and had cars and boats sitting wherever they could put them. It really blocks any views. The site was level, but had a couple inches of water covering it one day after a brief rain. Cable didn芒鈧劉t work, and neither did WiFi. I would go further south for a nicer place, but we had to stay in the area for a wedding. We were promised a pull through spot, but when we arrived we were given a back I spot that was to short and to narrow. They did move us to another spot, but it was back in as well, so the toad had to come off.

We stayed here two nights - one in the way to key west and another on the way back. We really liked this place a lot. Two nice little beaches and great kayak opportunities. A very nice swimming pool with plenty of shade around. Residents were all very kind to us and seemed to all know each other. Clean and reasonably priced laundry facility. Clean showers and restrooms. Very helpful and kind office staff. Both sites we had were decently sized - especially when you consider that you're on an island. One was a little more difficult to get in to than the other but both were wide and long and landscaped and level. We will come back!

Feb 20-21; really enjoyed it; friendly staff and snow birders; lots of activities; walking distance to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, shopping, and good restaurant; quiet in evenings; clean; shower facilities a bit old, but OK.

Nice place. Pool is warm and clean with cabanas. Sites are well maintained but close together. Bathrooms are mostly clean but could be a little bit cleaner. Store is minimal but it's very close to Kmart and publics. Lots of games like shuffle board. Good playground for kids. Overall a nice place with good tropical scenery.
