Very nice full hookup Florida State Park. We were in site 16 which backed up to another site If you can get a site on the outside loop as they are all beautiful. Restrooms and park are immaculate Kayaked the Blackwater River and it was beautiful too. We used the local rental service to move our tandem kayak for the 11 mile paddle. Took us 3 hours with a lunch break.

What a nice park!!! We enjoyed it so much, we stayed a couple more days, and canceled our other stops. Nestled in the tall pines, along the Blackwater River, it芒鈧劉s so beautiful. Great opportunities for kayaking, fishing, swimming and hiking. Just 30 minutes from Navarre Beach and awesome fishing pier. They only slight down is that there is helicopter training flying overhead much of the day. Not a deal breaker for this Florida gem. We would absolutely stay here again.

I芒鈧劉m in site 27. Very nice site in a very nice campground. Really good hike trails. Bathrooms are very good. I would rate this campground one of the best state park campgrounds (and we芒鈧劉ve been in a lot of them). 40 minutes to Pensacola. Good bike trail in Milton. They even have curbside trash pick-up each morning. Don芒鈧劉t think twice about staying here芒鈧ust do it.

By far the nicest FL state campground I芒鈧劉ve stayed at. Nearly new facilities. Nice swimming.

Sites were easy to access and level. Most sites are gravel and few are concrete slabs. Bathhouse was open and kept clean. The park host comes around every morning to collect trash. Plenty of hiking/walking trails. A canoe/kayak/tube rental service is available a mile or 2 down the road. There is a path down to a 芒鈧損rivate芒鈧 beach for the camp spots. Full hook ups. Good size spots. Pet friendly. Staff has been helpful anytime I have approached them. Of course it is FLORIDA so just be prepared for bugs and rain.

Very clean and level sites. We were there one night so we didn芒鈧劉t need to unhook. Lots of places to walk the dog. My only negative is a few sites backup other sites and the one we had felt like we were sharing one site. Nothing but a little fence to separate the two sites. I would stay again but I would look for something a little more private. We were there the middle of August rather hot and humid.

Great little state park! Level gravel camp sites, new and clean showers, access to the river for swimming and kayaking. We were here April 5/6 and no bugs yet, very pleasant.

A gem of a small park nestled in a pine Savannah near the beautiful Blackwater River. Sites are level, mostly gravel but some concrete. Opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and biking abound. Staff and hosts are friendly and helpful. Biting bugs were not as bad as we expected. Only a very few mosquitoes at dusk and dawn. Recommend booking ahead. This is a popular spot.

Beautiful state park under tall long needle pines. Sites are level on gravel off an asphalt road. Good privacy between sites. Clothesline on each site. Clean, well-kept bathhouse. Trails by the river. Canoeing, kayaking nearby.

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The park is small, 30 sites. Well maintained and the park hosts groom each site after it is vacated. Very reasonable for a state park with full hook-ups. Great park for Kayaking and biking down the forest service roads where really nice. We would definately stay here again. Big rig friendly. Those with satalite dishes may find it hard to get a signal. We stayed here in a fifth wheel.
