Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of High Springs Campground.
Road to: Easy, short distance from highway 75.
Road inside: Paved and in good condition.
Trees: All well trimmed.
Check in: No one is at the small office most of the time. Need to call if you need help. Best you know what site you are going to before you arrive.
Parking: Not much of a parking area, so best you know where your site is.
Seasonal campers: Too Many. Not looking very nice. The give the campground a bad look.
Signage: good
Site 8: Concert pad, but very unlevel. Had table and fire pit.
View: None
Site spacing:
Bathhouse: Nice.
Laundry room: Nice.
Swimming pool: Very nice.
Club house: None.
Fitness area: None.
Grounds: Messy due to seasonals.
TV: Over air antenna was OK.
Wifi: Good.
So here is the bad: Too many seasonals that look run down. I would come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

You can tell they have made improvements on this park. Convenient to I75 and close to restaurants and two state parks. Very friendly check in staff. Nice pool area. Mix of long term and short term guests. Didn鈥檛 use restrooms or showers.

This place has the friendliest workers . They have a new owner that has gotten rid of the old dead trees put in a lot of concrete sites and did a lot of beautification to the park . This park is going from a one night stand to a destination park . There鈥檚 still plenty of trees for shade .

This is a hidden gem tucked in the woods just off I-75 near Alachua, Florida. The small park is under new ownership and is undergoing many improvements. We stayed here as our last stop on our summer trek and were pleasantly surprised. The renovated sites are large and level and we were able to find a satellite signal to watch our sports! We will definitely return.

Small park under mature trees. Friendly people. Sites are all on hard packed sand. Some roads are paved but rough. Stayed overnight in 40芒鈧劉 MH with tow. Our site was long enough and level. All in all, good place for a quick overnight.

This place needs a lot of work. Tree roots make narrow sites difficult to level. No WiFi, many unkempt trailers, several with broken down cars parked in front of the camper. Some of these units haven芒鈧劉t been moved in so long that vines have grown up over them.
Staff was friendly & guided (walked) us to our spot. Very tight turns, narrow 芒鈧搑oad芒鈧 with cars parked in the road, blocking passage.
Camp here if you have no other choice.

Friendly staff. Very old park with year round residents. This is a one or two night stay over. We used this place as a stop going down too Punta Gorda for two nights.
It was great for that. Great restraint in High Springs and a few nice parks to hike in. Bathrooms and showers were old but very clean. A good place to sleep.

Older park with lots of trees. Staff was great, some sites a little close but pull thru was plenty long enough. Less than a mile off I75 and very peaceful and quite. About 20 miles from Gainesville, plenty of good restaurant choices in High Springs and Alachua.
Would stay again

Called ahead was told that I didn't have to book they had lots of sites. Asked how much for the night for a 21 foot rv told 33 dollars not bad for the area close to I 75 to Tampa and all the places you would go is 1 to 2 hours away .Great little get away from all the tourist attractions. Now the nitty and gritty. Washrooms and showers so clean. I mean wow. Laundry room is outside under cover. 2 dollars a wash not bad. Pool, all hooks ups you ever need, very nice office attendant. Helped with all my questions. All in all a great bare bones outfit. No fancy useless frills. Oh and free internet. I'm also a Sam's club member and got 3 dollars off. Nice wooded lot as well. Great time was had by my wife an I.
