Wonderful campground, mostly shaded sites, clean latrines and laundry room.
A lot to do in the area (beaches, shopping, dining, etc).
West Gate(visitors) gate was narrow but ok with our travel trailer.
Love those Jets!

Stayed Nov to Feb, price raised to $800 month, very little maint done to campground, large divots in driveways that turn into ponds when it rains, dryers broke down a lot, staff not friendly, need more street lights, no playground for kids, dog park would be nice.

Unfortunately this place is mismanaged to the fullest extent possible. Could be a really nice place. It stays pretty full which is why the AF probably doesn’t do anything to make it better. They do have a camp host that drives around in his golf cart all day toting his rule list. Acts more like a principal of an elementary school than a host. Never got a welcome nor did he ever ask if there was anything that we needed. Seems to enjoy the little bit of power he has. Spot are unkept, grass isn’t mowed, roads are awful, and they told me if I wanted the grass cut I could sign out a mower. Around 60 spots with 4 washers/dryers. This place brings in almost $50k a month, spend some money and make this place a little better. BTW, price just went up to $800. Probably won’t be back.

Nice, clean RV park with a ton of potential. Unfortunately the AF MWR has managed to under achieve with this place. Park is mismanaged and not tended to as it should be. Grass is not cut, roads are not maintained and spots are not tended to. We were told that they have lawn equipment to sign out so we could maintain our own spot. One thing they do have is a over achieving camp host that drives around with his rule sheet and reprimands campers. Never a welcome or a is everything ok, just dissertations on the rules. More of a camp police than a host. Sad.
Price is going up from $700 to $800 a month Nov 2023.

Nice campground, clean and pleasant. Camp staff/Host were very nice and friendly. Nice spots with shade, level, and cleaned before you arrive.

Campground was very clean, staff cleaned sites for arriving guests. Most sites have partial shade and spots are pretty level. Nice walking/biking trails. Close to BX/Commissary.
We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
Enter through South Gate, will move barriers if needed.

First the good. Clean restrooms and fairly level parking spots. Now the bad. Very loud as jets take off all day. I’m on an airforce base so I expected that. No dog park. No drying racks allowed for your wet towels or laundry you don’t want in a dryer. They change the rules faster than the weather. Manager has her dog off the leash outside all the time. No community center. No fire pits. No dog fence allowed around your camper. No refund if you turn in days. This is really only a place to stop and rest overnight. I will only stay here as a last resort. I feel sorry for our service men and women who have to deal with this place while they are looking for local housing. MWR manager said to me personally that if they want to save money on their BAH then they will have to abide by some of their ridiculous rules. I asked for a community clothesline and a dog park and they just give excuses why they shouldn’t have those.

Stayed Nov. 2022 to March 2023, nice quiet campground located close to BX and Commissary. No Wi-Fi and 2-3 bars on Verizon cell phone. Bath house and laundry were clean and well maintained. Camping spaces are good size with concrete pad for metal picnic table. Good water pressure, sewer, and good electric. There is a lot of Jet noise during the week and quiet most weekends. Not much night flying. Price was $700.00 a month. We visited Postal Point campground which is on the water and gorgeous view of the bay but doesn’t have sewer hook up, just dump station. We enjoyed our stay!

Stayed 3 days. Large pull thru parking places (not paved). Large concrete slab with picnic table next to where you park. Pulled in late in evening and no street lights. Unless full moon the park is very dark ... No lights any where. Tall trees which is good and bad ... good for shade, bad as constantly dropped pin needles everywhere which in part is due to the time of year we were there (Nov). Park has 5 streets and 3 of them are not paved, as a result of a dry fall the dust from the vehicles was bad. Might be this way even if not dry. Didn't use wash room or restrooms but were clean. Front office staff very helpful, friendly and easy to work with. Would stay there again without doubt.

Ok park, aircraft noise is off the chart. No wifi unless you are in the office and that is poor at best, tv reception is near impossible unless you use a dish. Time to freshen up this park, lots of potholes and time to replace all of the rotten landscape timbers and generally clean the place up some. We did not use the showers, laundry small and always seemed busy. Bright spot, lots of places to walk near the bay and freah water but again the parks near the bay need lots of work, like empty the trash cans and clean up the place. I am venting somewhat because I feel that complaints about the park are not taken seriously. If the Air Force can launch planes all day long in afterburner, they can find funds to clean up some. Would seek other acomadations in the future. Speed limits on this base seem to be ignored and you can not buy diesel fuel at either mini marts.
