Wonderfully quiet setting. Super staff! But you probably should pay extra for a level site. We did after the first night because the site was badly sloped beyond any hope of correction. Saw the biggest black bear of our lives just moseying across the road the leads to the campground! Don’t miss Paymes Prairie SP while here. Probably our bedt wildlife experience in Florida and we’re here most years.

Very quiet campground. So quiet we could hear the bullfrogs and a barn owl that was hunting from the trees near our camper. This campground encourages ATVs and other off-road vehicles with plenty of trails to ride on. The employees are very friendly and helpful. We arrived after hours. The security guard came by to make sure we had no problems setting up. We will certainly be back.
