Stayed the winter and it was warm while most of the country was under snow. Large spaces with good-sized elevated patios. Great staff - always friendly and helpful. Trash pickup comes around several times 08-12:00. Astroturf keeps the critters and bugs at bay, but there is some flooding issues with heavy rains. They鈥檝e added some nice pool furniture since last year, but the changes are still in progress, and we look forward to returning next year to see the new upgrades. Hope this will include a big-dog dog park.
There were some out-of-control kids and teens leaving stuff everywhere, speeding across grass and roads on electric bikes, and playing on other people鈥檚 sites, but management eventually got it under control. Still, there needs to be better supervision of kids - especially at the pool. Maybe some adult-only pool hours (a couple during the day and a couple at night) will help.
Flying Dutchman is only open breakfast/lunch on the weekends now, but does a great food buffet on Tuesday evenings under the big Tiki Hut. The NY pizza truvk is gone, but YH brings in vrious weekly food trucks. The BBQ and chicken-waffle were both good, but you need to get there early. We miss 鈥淲Ine-down Wednesdaays.鈥 And we miss the cigar-and-coffee-bar truck.
Slackers up the road on 84 is a great Green Bay Packer bar/restaurant.

We鈥檙e full-time travelers in a 40鈥 Class A, and rarely stay anyplace longer than a week, so this is an exception鈥tayed three months. Bi-monthly propane delivery service.
Spots are plenty big for long rigs and cars, easy to get into, and the large tile patios are raised so that it鈥檚 an easy step in and out of the RV. Each spot also has room for a couple of cars.
This place is much better than Aztec, where we stayed last winter. It feels 鈥渉omier.鈥 They pick up trash multiple times between 08-12:00, and always keep the dog poo disposal cans clean and empty.
Astroturf instead of grass, which helps keep down the with bugs critters.
On-site pizza from NY during the season, and a wonderful dockside boat restaurant 鈥淭he Hungry Dutchman鈥 that delivers. There is also a Jungle Queen paddlewheel with a river dinner cruise; pontoons and fishing boats are available to rent. They also have a handlful of Airstream BnBs for rent near the water.
Very friendly people and staff - from the office to the work crews. They went out of their way for us on several occassions. Met some great neighbors and made friends.
There are Taco Tuesdays, 鈥淲ine down鈥 Wednesdays with free beer & wine, and other events under the main Tiki Hut. They have catered events (we rented the hut for a party). They had an amazing spread for Valentine鈥檚 Day. Prices for the buffet vary, but are not much and the drinks are free.
They also bring in a truck once or twice a month that is half cafe and half walk-in humidore, for those who like a cigar night.
The pool is nice and the gym adequate - the expansion is under construction still, but we will definitely be back next winter when it鈥檚 done.
Only negative is that the dog park is much too small (ironic, since most people have big dogs). There is occassional flooding in some spots when there鈥檚 alot of rain during high tide, but they pump water out and take care of it fairly quickly.
The location is easy to get in and out of - not far from Miami, only an hour and 40 min drive to Key West. Yacht Haven is convenient to the airport, beach, stores, and other event venues. Some excellent restaurants nearby (especially the Field Irish Pub).

Not sure where some of these ,Negative Review People , came from . This is one of the Nicest RVResorts in South Florida . Stayed for 3 days in 2023 and 2024 . Spacious sites , great check in group , beautifully maintained , great views . Walking the wood boardwalk area to see the Big Yachts and talk to the people is amazing . Quiet. No little kids . A Must visit for Us Older People . Beautiful in every way .

First, ignore reviews pre 2019/20, it鈥檚 a different park today.
Second, it is expensive but pretty nice. Pay the extra for canal frontage. The least expensive back-in sites are just basic. It is Fort Lauderdale and nice parks are hard to come by.
Bit tight and elevated platforms can catch your steps if not positioned properly. Pool was warm and spotless, nice gym, boat rentals and a few food trucks with great pizza for evening and coffee/breakfast/lunch. Close to everything and good base if you have things to do in Lauderdale :-)

April 2022 - In Fort Lauderdale for business for 4.5 days 芒鈧 needed a place easy to get to Convention Center / Port area. Was concerned about reviews here and elsewhere 芒鈧 Significant upgrades and great customer service. On the plus-side, newly paved and artificial turf, bathrooms were good; laundry good, pool, and gym, nice staff who escorts you to your spot to help you get in. On the down side extremely TIGHT spots (I was here for business; I would not want to vacation so close to my neighbors!). The website says they cater to Class A芒鈧劉s, but there were a lot of 5th wheels and travel trailers 芒鈧 not many class B芒鈧劉s. 4-stars for the new/upgraded amenities and friendly management 芒鈧 AND super-convenient spot to come/go to the Port area for business. I normally boondock, so this would not be my choice for vacation 芒鈧 but I was pleasantly surprised with the park given past reviews.

We stayed here for three weeks over the Christmas holiday and it was really bad. The gates stayed broken the entire time even though they were supposed to be repairing them. The sites are extremely tight. Our neighbor came in while we were at dinner and put his slide 2 ft. over on our concrete patio. It was so close I put my lounge chairs away because there was no way I was going to be able to enjoy sitting outside with their dinette area on top of me. Management finally came days later and made them move, but it was just as bad. There isn't any room for cars to park so they park in the street. A lot of the park were Canadians down for the 4 - 5 more break. The canal was in disrepair so you couldn't walk the entire thing. The office and maintenance staff were very rude. I will never stay there again!

despite being close to I95 this was an excellent place to stop. Pay the extra $10 for a canal pitch. And if you find cleaner, hotter, better pressure showers for under $100, let me know!

This is the worst RV park we have ever stayed in, from the staff on site to the facilities to the reservation keeping. We were one of three rigs traveling together, two Class As and one 41' fifth wheel. We made reservations 9 months in advance and asked for the three rigs to be together. When we arrived, they had us spread all over the park because people that we in the sites reserved for us wanted to stay longer, so the staff let them. Then when we arrived in the fifth wheel, the staff sent us to the end of a cul de sac to a site that was meant for Class As as a pull in site. There was no where to turn around so we had to back a fifth wheel all the way out. As far as facilities goes, the only way to access the wifi was at the Rex center, so there was no wifi signal to connect to at your sites. The pool was nasty so there was no place to swim. Lastly, the staff at check out was slow and unorganized, resulting in a line of rigs trying to get out of the park with only one lane open because they allowed cars to park in the second lane. That left everyone waiting hot-tempered as those in the front were trying to check out with a slow staff.
The park sites are tighter that a tick. RVs are so tight in the sites, there is no where to park cars, resulting in cars and trucks being parked in the road. This makes it very difficult to tow around.
The snow birds are rude, rude, rude with none of that patience demonstrated typically with RVers. Given the tight quarters, you have to wait in line to get out on the one lane road. The snow birds are pushy and impatient wanting to get by, rude all around.
Stay away from this place, there is absolutely nothing good to say about it!
