Once Beautiful park but now very noisy and with overpowering views of a gigantic high rise development backing up to the south side of the state park. Noise all day with bounding, hammering. The beach so far is pristine fine white sand on emerald waters. But as the development opens this summer or later I'm sure it will not be the same. Otherwise this is a well run and beautifully kept park. The state grabbed a lovely piece of FL.

$40 if you book through Reserve America. Beautiful park. The sites are nice and private with dense vegetation between sites. Nice roads and clean bathhouse. Walmart and other businesses are across the street. We'll be back!

This is one of the best State Parks anywhere. Sites are large and private, the wonderful beach is but a short walk away, there are beach wheelchairs for use, the staff is very nice, the bathhouses are very well kept, it is close to shopping and dining, etc. The only bad thing is you need to make reservations LONG in advance if you want to stay here. We try to stay here as often as we can.

Dense vegetation provides almost total screening between VERY large and level sites. Roads are paved. Sites have gravel. For shortest walk to beach choose a site near the bathhouse for sites 1-30. This bathhouse also has two family/ADA private bathrooms with shower.

Very nice, level & private campsite. Extremely clean bath house & showers. Quite a hike to the beach but worth the stay here.
