We were at the Destin army rv park from 11-4 thru 1-30-23. Two weeks after we arrived the cable went out and was not repaired until 01-16-23, and no internet. We were told that the pool was heated when we made our reservations. One of the workers told us the heater wasn’t worked in two years. It was repaired right around 12-26-22. Three of the ice machines were broken. The rv park is only a minute from the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen and Destin offers very fine restaurants. Peggy and Nicky at the front desk were very polite and helpful during our stay. The bath house were not heated. I would bring in my own electric heater when I went to shower. The facility has new staff, new roofs were being put on and the hotel rooms were receiving a make over

Highly recommend this military campground. Clean & well maintained. Great facilities for children with splash pad, pool, & gated grounds. Sites are tight but camp host while we stayed was helping folks get into their sites. Reception staff very friendly. All in all a great value & campground for military families.

We stayed in a back in site for 5 nights in July. The sites are really tight and luckily there wasn’t anyone across from us so we could use that pad to help turn, we struggled fitting both our truck and trailer on the concrete pad. The bathhouse is nice, laundry facilities are good, can’t beat the location and amenities this park offers for the price. We loved everything except the tight space to park! Can’t wait to visit again next year.

We are locals and come here multiple times a year when we can get a spot. Pros: Great place for families. They have two parks, splash pad and pool. The fishing is fantastic during the summer (unfortunately the dock and marina suffered damage the last hurricane and is currently closed). Cons: The front desk NEVER answers phone calls, you have to leave a message and hope somebody returns the call. I have never had a problem with them being rude like other reviews stated.
Overall it is a great place and close to many things that make this area special!

We made reservations for 5 days at the RV camp. We arrived and found the lady we had talked to previously had put us in too small of a spot. The receptionist on arrival was on a reservation phone call and never looked up to acknowledged us. Once off her call she was very matter of fact. She did find us a spot but only for 4 days. It was a larger spot and the price increased from $30 to $40 dollars per night FHU. We asked if they’d let us know if another night would open. Said it was our responsibility to call every day. At no time did she smile, say welcome or anything to make us feel welcome. The park is nice but very tight. Many Class A vehicles here. You may have to ask your neighbor to move their vehicle so you can back in. They do have a few pull through. None are adjacent to the back bay but it’s a very short walk. Only one dumpster. It’s located about 2 miles off Hwy 98. Clean facilities and very good access to a wide variety of water activities. Hours are 8am to 10pm. This is a nice facility.

Returned after 1 year absence and was disappointed in appearance of facilities. Grass was in need of mowing and fence line around RV area had not been weedeated in several weeks. Receptionist in office and asst. manager definitely need customer service training. RV sites are VERY tight for 5th wheels and larger motor homes.Great location just disappointed in appearance and service since last year.

Nice clean park friendly check-in. Paved roads and concrete pads.

Stayed just after Thanksgiving for 2 weeks. The park is clean and well maintained with solid wifi when you need it. The back in spots are a little tight. Laundry facilities are very clean, as is the bathroom/shower house. Grocery stores within a few miles, restaurants as close as one mile. Enjoyed our stay, will definitely return.

Nice campground, although I think the duplexes and apartments block the true beauty of the water views. We stayed 2 weeks and unfortunately it was a bit rainy for most of our stay. But the PROS are it’s a shopping Mecca so for me that was awesome. Still had a good time and will stay again. My husband wasn’t happy with his fishing outcomes. Lol

Very nice and to be real the sites are very spacious compared to camp gulf. A little short on the back in ones but still plenty of room. Very good WiFi and just a nice place to stay a couple nights to be in the area.
