Wanted to like this place but couldn't. If you are lucky enough to get a site on the water, go for it, but these are booked for years in advance. Otherwise, waaayyyy overpriced. Do not stay in the sand area unless on the water. Felt very crammed, no privacy whatsoever. Beach access is only 50 or so yards of waterfront.

the resort was beautiful. They had all kinds of amenities and activities. Even though it was cold, our family was still able to swim in the enclosed heated pool. They also had a huge fire pit every night to sit around and relax. The staff was so customer oriented and were so kind and accommodating. We will definitely come back!! Thanks to camp gulf for being so generous and giving to tents for troops.
