Just another over-rated OVER PRICED RV parking lot. I called a day ahead and requested a site on the water. I clearly told the host I wanted to be able to sit outside with a good view of the lake and cook out with about 5 friends who were to join us the next day. I was assured this would be the BEST spot available. I was also told there would be ample parking for the other vehicles. When we got there my heart dropped. I could not believe how tight they had these sites. RIDICULOUS!! I'm surprised you can even let out your awning. To top that, there were no picnic tables, and absolutely no room for sitting outside. Most sites don't have fire rings either. As far as being able to park extra vehicles...HA!! That's a joke. I went back into the office and told them we'd like to leave and requested a refund. Now no-one wants to load up and haul a rig for hours to just up and leave but that's how disappointed I was. They would not refund me a single dime. Instead they wasted another 30 minutes or so trying to stick me in another one of their crappy spots. None of them were suitable for what we had asked for. My biggest problem is these so called RV resorts are so darn GREEDY. Not only do they pack you in like sardines but they have their "no refunds policy". I can understand keeping the deposit or even the first night, but nope that wasn't enough for these folks they kept ALLLLLL of my money. Bad business IMO. It appears as if the hookups are on the opposite side of your trailer in most of the sites as if you need another inconvenience. While there might be some good reviews (which I sometimes wonder if it's just friends of rv park owners) it would be in your best interest to heed the bad reviews here and keep it rollin. It's enough to make you want to sell your rig and ditch the whole rv/camping hassle altogether.

Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Twin Lakes Camp Resort. Getting to the campground is all on good road with fairly little traffic. The roads in the campground are gravel but level. The office was open and the lady's were friendly. The camp store has some nice gifts and basic camping needs. We were given a map showing us our campsite. All sites are paved and have a brick patio with fire pit, but no picnic table. We were given site k17. Our site was level. The campground is all about the traveling RVer. The bath house is upscale and very nice. The club house is nice and has a pool table. The pool was large and nice. The lounge chairs are hard wooden things that are very uncomfortable. No hot tub. The sites have cable and wifi is sometimes good. When lots of other campers are using it, it goes bad.
All the sites have a good amount of space from the neighbor. Site K17 have a nice view of the lake. If I were to come back, I would choose sites T7, H20, H4, H6, H7, K11 or K20.

I am extremely picky on campsites and have never written a review before, but this place deserves it. The staff was exceedingly friendly (going so far as to look up my Good Sam’s without me even asking) and they keep the place absolutely spotless. The bathrooms were pristine and even stylish. The sites are level and paved with beautiful views from every direction. If you are ever near here, you must stay and enjoy!

Everything about this campground is top notch! As the pictures on the website will attest, no expense was spared for the comfort and convenience of campers. And it’s all kept immaculately clean. No complaints about this little gem tucked away in NW Florida. Side note: Defuniak Springs’ historical district is a beautiful Victorian-style step back in time!

They charge one night stay no matter what excuse you have for cancelling
I cancelled 3 1/2 months in advance with a valid personal excuse,
And they still charged me and A week later I still have no credit and they claim they mailed me a check which I was not informed of.
Very disappointed

This is a fine small resort, where we would love to stay longer in a waterfront site. Very nice facilities, paved sites, landscaping, pool. The T sites however, particularly T-4, though nicely paved, are oddly humpbacked. It was like parking our trailer on the back of a turtle. Not the levelling bother one wants for a one night stopover. The T sites are very long, but lack side space for a picnic table. Perhaps fine for a big MoHo with auto-levelling. Combined with the distance from I-10, I’d give this resort a pass unless staying longer in a waterfront site.

What a beautiful RV park.
Stayed 1 night on our way home to Wisconsin. Could have stayed longer. It is in a beautiful setting between 2 lakes, great views from our site. It was very quiet and staff was very friendly.
When we got up the next morning it was so peaceful.
We will use this park again for sure.

We are new RVers and our first trip was evacuating FL from Hurricane Irma! We found this resort on Allstays. This is a cozy little resort nestled between two beautiful lakes. Great views from almost every site. Friendly staff and extremely well maintained grounds, nice store and faculties were immaculate. We will definitely return here!
