We came to this resort to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We were in the area 30 years ago swimming with manatees. The staff here was incredibly friendly and helpful. We rented the pontoon boat for $106 for the day. We saw many manatees, and had a wonderful time. My only complaint would be a few no see ems. Those little bugs will get you. Other than that we had a wonderful time. Hats off to a great team.

Stayed here 2 nights on our way South lots of tornado damage our electric showed a bad neutral they had it fixed in minutes of letting them know. Sites are normal Encore sites a little tight but we fit our 37 ft. 5ver no problem great people in the office. Good neighbors all around.

This place is like being in a sardine can. The place is packed so to the point it is unpleasant. Would I return here? NO! No! No! Oh and there is the bugs. it芒鈧劉s Florida.

I seldom review, but these previous ones may be outdated. Was here recently on a weekend so most everyone is here to go boating or kayak, fishing. The staff was really great. Both days! Yes, almost everyone has a boat! Um芒鈧his is a boating community!!! They even have a private dock and boat ramp that is not far at all from King芒鈧劉s Bay. I saw some long term sites that were very well kept. Many campgrounds have long term these days. It芒鈧劉s a very beautiful area by the way, there芒鈧劉s a reason it芒鈧劉s called Crystal River! On this visit we boated into the nearby Seven Sisters Springs State Park. We swam in and while snorkeling were able to see two manatees. So, I was really happy to be here. It芒鈧劉s great to see people who get the RV and boating lifestyle. Living their best life! Will definitely be back!

Would not recommend this park at all! If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful spot to camp for the weekend, this is not the place for you. If you are new to RVing absolutely do not pick this park. Overcrowded is an understatement! Almost every single RV is accompanied by atleast one boat and multiple cars. The majority of those camping here appear to be 芒鈧搇ive in芒鈧 residents who have set up makeshift car-ports, sheds, decks, and patios. Spots are uneven, mucky and muddy with water standing, and cramped on top of each other. They also try to put rigs on sites that are clearly only big enough to accommodate a tent. Do your self a favor and find another location!!

Nice park. Staff was friendly and professional. Had difficulty with the assigned spot due to the size of our rig. They allowed us to look at other spots and choose one that worked better for us. This is a busy park with lots of long term occupants and almost everyone has a boat. Space is tight and some of the spots could use some new surfacing considering the camp fees. However, there are nice amenities though and found our stay pleasant. Nice play area for kids, volleyball and basketball court and nice pool.

Stayed here two weeks. Cannot comment on bathrooms, did not use them. Great pool and hot tub. Nice coin laundry. No store. Propane available everyday for one hour. Stayed on two different sites and connection for cable had damaged threads, noticed many others hooked up. The only negative we have is not the resorts fault, the 芒鈧搉o-see-ums芒鈧 are horrible here, don芒鈧劉t go out after sun sets for sure, that芒鈧劉s when they are worst.

Pro: has private boat ramp and close to gulf, pool kiddie pool and spa, playground, and ice cream cart
Con: rude staff, reserved spot 6 months in advance given to full timer w no apology just told take it or leave, no cable hook up (it was broke called to get fixed but they never came), have to pay for internet, rear bathrooms old (they are renovating front bathrooms but rears where never cleaned entire weekend), boat trucks and peoples belongings everywhere ( hard to maneuver camper around),with good rain sites are mucky/muddy.

Where do I start? First it芒鈧劉s a parking lot. We fought to get to our site, through tons of boats, trailers and trucks parked everywhere and anywhere. We had to back up twice to try another route to get to our site! The trees are not trimmed well, so as a result of the very tight roads, crazy packed sites, boats, cars, and you name it, we sustained a rip in our roof!
We couldn芒鈧劉t pull into/back into our over priced 62$ a night parking spot with a 20x10 white storage tent behind us, another camper to our right, that has about 6芒鈧劉 of Room. (We can here them through our bump out.)
Very loud, very crowded, and one of the worst camp grounds I芒鈧劉ve ever stayed at. I芒鈧劉ve been RVing since 1998.

All in all not bad but pretty typical for an Encore membership resort: somewhat aged with lots of long-term residents. The sites are a little cramped but overall people were pretty friendly and staff was very nice and helpful. The bathhouse next to the pool/clubhouse was actually very nice, but another bathhouse by the lake was old and blah. Can't speak for the other bathhouses, but use the one by the pool if you want a nice, clean, private shower room. The pool and hot tub looked nice and seemed to be popular with guests. Wifi was a nightmare (at least for me). This is the second Encore park I've been to where they outsource the wifi to 3rd party "Tengo Internet". I went through the steps to purchase their service but none of my devices would connect. Spent hours on the phone with idiotic overseas tech support people which ultimately resulted in a refund. This is not necessarily a ding against Crystal Isles but I did let them know how bad it was to deal with Tengo Internet. Fortunately Verizon has decent coverage there and I was able to use my mobile hotspot instead.
