This is one of those mega campgrounds but nicely kept and sites are not as jammed in as most such places, unless like us you ended up in a pull through site in the Hawksbill section. Your reservation gets you a site but its first come first served. You can watch for another site in the morning and change but we didn芒鈧劉t bother, it wasn芒鈧劉t that bad. Nicely kept.

Complete 5 star experience all the way from check-in to departure. We stayed in site Largo 21 for 2 weeks and desperately wished that it could have been longer! Our full-hookup back in site was very long and it also has a concrete pad. This RV resort has over 1,000 sites and it is absolutely gorgeous. It features 2 large pools, a hot tub, recreation center, fitness room and even a small store. Lots of space for biking and walking. Packages are accepted at the onsite mailroom but you have to pay a small $5.00 fee (cash only.) Tokens are required to use the onsite laundry machines and they cost $1.00 each. Washing and drying both require 3 tokens and the machines were in good shape. Several food trucks visit during the week. Make sure to check out Veronica's Cuisine on Fridays as their breakfast food is excellent! Our AT&T and Verizon phones worked at the site but the signal strength was weak. Did not try the optional paid wifi. Free wifi at the rec center was awful. We were also able to program lots of free over-the-air TV channels. Recycling is available onsite. My wife and I have visited over 40 Thousand Trails parks over the last 2+ years and this location is our hands-down favorite. Thank you Orlando RV Resort team!

Campground Name: Orlando RV Resort Location: Clermont, FL Overall Campground Rating (1-5): 4 Maneuverability*: Very easy to get around the campsite Campground Notes: Social hub for fulltime RV families in the winter Site #: 26 Largo (New section) Site Rating (1-5): 5 Site Notes: Concrete pad for RV & picnic area. Site backs up to pond. New picnic table but no fire ring. Quieter and more spacious section than most of the park. Amenity Rating (1-5): 3 Amenity Notes: New playground but closed for Covid. Pool and hot tub were open but the weather was too cool for us to jump in. Mini-golf but not lending equipment due to Covid. Nice dock out on the lake. Reason for camping here: One of the three Thousand Trails in Florida; seems to be the hub for fulltime families Miscellaneous Notes: Good laundromats nearby. Near Orlando if you need stores, groceries, restaurants, etc. Dates Stayed: 12/6/2020-12/13/2020 Price Paid: $0 with Thousand Trails membership Weather: Unseasonably cold but sunny and nice weather. Verizon Cell Quality**: Lots of network management despite 4 bars of signal, 7.1Mb/s down & 8Mb/s up T-Mobile Cell Quality***: Averaged better signal than Verizon but became very slow for a couple days and then went back to normal, 8.6Mb/s down & 10.9Mb/up Mail: Big mailroom but don芒鈧劉t try to pickup a package if it was delivered that day. They seemed overwhelmed and we had to always go the next day. * For reference we are pulling a 33芒鈧劉 long Jayco travel trailer with a 2016 F350 Crew Cab Short Bed 4x4 which is 22芒鈧劉 with hitch giving us a total length of 55芒鈧劉. **Verizon - two Google Pixel 2 XL on Verizon芒鈧劉s 芒鈧淧lay More芒鈧 unlimited data plans. For data we have an Inseego 8800L on Verizon芒鈧劉s expired prepaid unlimited hotspot plan. In areas of low signal we use a Netgear 6000450 MIMO antenna. ***T-Mobile 芒鈧 Alcatel Linkzone 2 on unlimited Calyx Institute Sprint/T-Mobile plan. We are typically more state park type people but we got a thousand trails membership so we stay at them when we can to save money. This is really a beautiful park. The pool is nice and it is well run. When we showed up we asked for a pull through site but don芒鈧劉t do that unless you don芒鈧劉t mind literally sharing a pad with somebody else! All of the back in sites are really open and spacious so that芒鈧劉s what i would recommend!

Nice sized lots. Easy in and out. Water 50 psi and 65 ppm 10 Pickleball courts. Nice pool. Shuffle courts. NO INTERNET They say they are between providers and with 850 people trying to use Verizon and Sprint. Good luck. Of air tv good and good satellite coverage but if you need to communicate forget about it.

While I find nearly every Thousand Trails campground has its charm, the Orlando campground is perhaps the best overall (of the east coast campgrounds). I don芒鈧劉t think there are any bad sites, but there are some really great sites, here. The grounds are kept up and the utilities are more than adequate. They recently announced a 100 site expansion and I can芒鈧劉t wait to see what they are planning. The sandhill cranes walk through the park on a regular basis. If you need high speed internet, you should consider satellite. T-Mobile and Verizon are barely adequate for streaming except in loop D, which is mostly a cell dead zone. Publix is next door, as is Great Clips, and some decent Chinese food. Starbucks, Lowe芒鈧劉s, and Walmart are a short drive. Warning, during the high season, do not arrive before noon else they will turn you away and tell you to come back later.

We have stayed at Orlando Thousand Trails before and will again. It is a large facility and very well kept. The front desk is staffed with friendly folks who are mostly campers themselves. There are several different sections, but our favorite is the one farthest away and has no WIFI (section D). We have good Verizon service for hot spotting and can usually get TV off the air (not always). This section is the most 'rustic' since they have left more of the natural plant life in place - which gives more separation from neighboring sites. We really enjoy it.

For a Thousand Trails/membership campground, TTO is one of the nicer and most sought after campgrounds in the Thousand Trails system. This place is massive, there must have been hundreds of campers. So big that you better not go far from your site without a map because the streets are very confusing. But very nice and well kept grounds, awesome dog park right off the lake, dedicated mail room, very friendly and helpful staff. As far as reservations, you have to pick your spot when you get there. They have hosts who will show you available spots on a map and then lead you to it. Overall very nice place to stay.

My main gripe is internet availability. It's a 3rd party service that you have to pay for. It was absolutely horrible and virtually unusable, probably due to the sheer number of campers there. Verizon signal was ok, but even hotspot internet was poor. Again probably due to the sheer number of people flooding the nearest cell tower. I need reliable internet for work and was extremely frustrated and found myself going to coffee shops to get decent wifi. I would love to stay here again but don't think I would unless I was off work.

Big campground. Reserved online. Received email reminders. Reception staff friendly. We were about 45 minutes to universal. Great price for location.

Only had one trash location, over by the rec hall and not near the exit. It was overflowing. They have the room to add a trash area turnout for people to use when exiting the park. It would be very helpful.

The one way traffic spikes on the exit side of the gate looked very aggressive. I stopped to inspect rv tires after exiting, thankfully no damage.

Would definitely come back.
