Saw the bad review but did not find that experience when I arrived here after being turned away from 3 other places that were full. I stayed 3 days and was so happy to use the shower house and have electric for my AC when temps were in high 80芒鈧劉s. Each site is FHU including sewer. Yes it is a packed place using every available space and yes lots of people here with their boats too. However, the staff was friendly and very helpful. Neighbors were friendly and regular easy going people. Yes there are many that rent by the monrh for their transient work or just like being here. If you love yo fish this is the place. Also there are potlucks and dinners and even a fishing contest. There are big and little rigs here. This is not a 芒鈧搑esort芒鈧 so it really shouldn芒鈧劉t be compared to one. But it is a well run city owned park, and a great place to park for a while.
My review is positive and I would come back if in the area. Very nice regular people!

Beware of this park! We made reservations 13 months in advance. When we arrived they did not have the spot that we had reserved. It took my wife over 30 minutes going back and forth to get a spot. They are very rude. The park is full of long term people who live like trailer trash. Very cramped, trucks and cars parked on the side of the road. Very trashy. No one enforced anything. High traffic volume. Lots of boats and boat trailers. Will never go back! Camper beware!

Large municipal campground. Inexpensive at $25/night for a W/E site (50/30/20) along canal system. Not fancy, but a decent overnight.
