Had a nice stay. This place is huge with mostly seasonal sites but restrooms clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of trees so talk to office about your rig size when you book. It is quiet and relaxing and it looked like management was planning some improvements for next year

1 star is 1 star too many!! This place was the worst experience I ever had. There are no instructions when you pull up about where to check in. So me and my 51ft of RV and Towed Car pulled up and the security guard scolded me. Then made me leave my car sticking out in the road while I checked in. Luckily the lady who checked me in was very nice. Once we got checked in, we were allowed to cross the gate….and that is when it went down hill. HOLY HECK! They basically took this place and squeezed at least 800 sites side by side. It’s overwhelming, and there are SOO many permanent resides. I couldn’t tell if I was staying in a trailer park or on vacation with my family. The sewage pipe was sticking at least 2 feet out of the ground. How would anyone even drain their black water tank when they have to get the water to move 2 feet above ground. People were walking around all night long and walking through our campground, and it just seemed weird. I definitely didn’t feel safe. The roads here are awful!! I can’t tell you all the limbs my class c hit, and I’m pretty sure I found the only place in the planet that craters from space land, because the roads, are pretty much unsafe as they are not maintained. I had better living arrangements in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the people I shared a living area with had more respect for my space then. The camp store was clearly effected by Covid, but after the awful first night, we just called it quits, didn’t ask for a refund, picked up our gear and are having a much better night in the Cracker Barrel parking lot down the road. DO NOT STAY HERE!! They should take this off the app and just mark it as a trailer Park community.

Everyone has been so nice they have nice big sites and pet friendly. The seasonal sites are very reasonable.

Ruined-$65-No Customer Service. We've only had this poor level of customer service one other time in the seven years, 10s of thousands of miles, hundreds of nights camping in all The Lower 48 and All the Provinces. Holly Lake Campsites does not deserve your business. The exceptionally high nightly rate is not matched by any level of customer service, particularly concerning the security gate system, which uses a magnetic card. The card only works sporadically. When it does, you may NOT come back in or out for 20 minutes. We forgot some food at the camper, and when we called the office to get back in the answer was, There is nothing we can do. You must wait 20 minutes. At that nightly rate YOUR camping experience will be ruined by that kind of response. Skip this place.

Big sites. Terrible roadways. Sites several miles away from office. $55 a night is pretty steep for off-season.
