South side of canal are all pull thru and flat cement. Easy and nice. North side are back in's but still nice. No trees. Fishing is good but rocky bottom in the canal so rig your lines accordingly. Swimming in ocean is great but at times the waves are brutal. Several bait stores in the area, Harris Tweeter grocery store just down the road. Bath houses are O.K. No campfires but there is tons to do in the area beach towns. Rehoboth is family with a mix of "alternative" lifestyles. Dewey is a party town full of fun beach bars, but behave. Cops are everywhere. Bethany is family. Lots to do in the area. I live in Delaware and this is one of my favorite areas. Camp store is VERY small. Area gets full on weekends. Several outlet stores nearby.
